I've been in structured pain Mgmt for 18+ yrs; after 6 failed back surgeries & trials of treatments it was only percocet that would allow me to tolerate walking again & functioning in at least a tolerable life without nausea, dizziness, fatigue & it TAKES THE PAIN AWAY TO A MANAGEABLE LEVEL! I've been suffering for the last 2 months on a different generic brand by Amneal Pharmaceuticals; it's horrible! It's as if I'm taking a completely different drug & producing diarrhea, nausea, headache, no pain relief, etc; I know my symptoms are a result of this GENERICALLY FORCED UPON ME pill. As laws are so strict now due to drug addicts abusing it WE THE PEOPLE PERCOCET WAS MADE FOR ARE SUFFERING with the stigma & restrictions won't let me turn in the ...

Amneal's oxycodone, generic for percocet 10/325 is white, oblong, blank on one side, and imprinted with IP 204 (not IP 203)! I usually take Watson or Mallinckrodt, 10/325, (2) tablets every 4-6 hours (240 monthly), but I was given Amneal today when filling my script, and I am not happy! I have cancer, and I also take morphine sulphate 30 mgs as well (1 every 12 hours), and Fioricet with Codeine for severe migraines (as needed)! I do not feel Amneal is sufficient or even close to the chemical makeup as Watson or Mallinckrodt for controlling pain/chronic pain! Amneal does not act the same way on my body, and I should not have to take more for same result! I think when you pay cash for your medications, and have been on the medication for 8 years, using the same pharmacy, they should o...

This is in reference to Amneal Pharmaceutical's "7.5/325" Oxycodone, the label which also reads in part: "*7.5 mg oxycodone HCI, USP is equivalent to 6.7228 mg of oxycodone" without explaining what that means. CVS switched my brand last month and claim that all brands are the same strength. NOT SO, according to the level of pain and everyone who is in pain knows that pain does no lie. Having a website where people can rant about their product to one another is an old trick perfected by Apple, Google, and Microsoft to make us think that somehow they're part of the conversation. Do not take no for an answer in telling your doctor, pharmacist, and insurance that you insist on something that works and is in fact the strength that your doctor prescribed! ## Generics c...

Is the ip 304 pill generic of percocet, or can it be used for opiate withdrawal? ## Hello, William! How are you? An oval, orange tablet with the marking IP 304 is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 75mgs of Velafaxine. The FDA classifies this medication as being an SNRI antidepressant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. However, if you mean the oblong, white tablet with the marking IP 204, that is listed by them as being a generic for Percocet, which contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation...

The pill itself says IP 204. It seems to be percocet 7.5 when I try to find it. The issue is I had a tonsillectomy yesterday and the pain meds do not seem to be helping. I got to thinking what did the pharmacy give me? It was supposed to be percocet 10 and Tylenol 325. It is white and long, oval like. I am thinking about calling the pharmacy, but wanted to know if this was the right medication. Because with a 10 mg...It should be decreasing in my pain and it is not. What should I do? ## IP 204 is a generic Percocet 10, manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals. Having your tonsils removed, especially if you are older, can be quite painful. Hope you feel better soon. ## As an additional note, not every medication works for everyone that tries it, either. Even if you've taken it before, ...

Hello, First, let me start by saying that I am somewhat opiate naive. I am not in pain management and hopefully won't need to be. I've had scripts here and there for norco and percocet. It is the generic percocet, or more specifically the oxycodone, i'd like to discuss here. Over the past year i've had issues (such as a broken elbow, recurring kidney stones, and a staghorn lodged in my renal pelvis [kidney]), that have lead to several prescriptions for percocet from a total of 4 different manufacturers. Mallinckrodt 10/325, Amneal 7/325, Rhodes Pharmacy 10/325, and AuroBindo 10/325. I've read a lot of reviews about the aforementioned generic manufacturers. The majority of them have been negative especially for Rhodes. Mallinckrodt and AuroBindo are the only two that ...

I am looking for Watson 10/325 Percocet and they no longer make them. What about Mylan brand? Has anyone had those- also Amneal is another generic. Help!!! ## My wife takes the 10/325 and has preferred the Watson also. Mylan worked well for her but we can't find anyone near us that carries Mylan. Who are you getting them from? ## I haven't had any personal experience with this med, but after seeing all the complaints against Actavis I think any other brand would be worth looking into. Endo Pharmaceuticals also makes Percocet. I'd just be mindful of the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that they put into those tablets, because you never know if something in there could be effecting its potency/bioavailability from the point of absorption. From what I've read, Endo u...

What is the difference? My script reads "Percocet oral tablet 10-325 mg" and the pharmacy gives me IP 204 10-325 mg. ## Hello, Dona! How are you? There is no difference. Percocet is the trade name for a medication that contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, so your pharmacy has provided you with a generic manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals. Been on 10/325 yellow percocet. I refill at Safeway. They gave me ip 204. What is the difference? I don't get the same relief from the IP 204. They said that is what Safeway is going with. I am stuck with these pills. What can I do? ## Hi doris, IP 204 is a generic form of percocet, made by Amneal Pharma. It also contains a dosage of 10/325 mg. If there are any notable differences between this and the yellow version you're used to taking, I'd say it would probably be found in the list of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers)... No yellow dye for example. Just for the record here is a list of inactive ingredients found in the IP 204 pill: silicon dioxide + crospovidone + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + povidone + corn starch + stearic acid There's also ...

I also took the Watson. Last prescription I received amneal which were awful. Aleve worked better! I threw them away! I did take the Mylan before and they was not too bad. Don't know if any generic now can get close to the Watson. Now I found two different pharmacies that carry mylan and endocet. Seems from reading, Endo does not make the generic endocet only the brand percocet, its qualitest which is now part of Endo since 2010 per Endo website. Confusing to me. Can anyone explain this to me? Since the company Endo really does not make endocet, are they still the best generic or should I stick with the Mylan? ## Hi Lulu, How's it going? IP 203 however is the next closest match I could find on the internet; and this is identified as a 5mg/325mg generic Percocet made by Amneal Pharma. Based off that info it's probably safe to assume that Amneal also manufacturers other pills with the "IP" marking, which means they'd likely have more specific details on whether IP 207 is...
