Noew the pharmacy (Safeway) switched to BENAZEPRIL 20mg made by RANBAXY which I understand manufacture umder filthy conditions. Is there any way I can get the AMNE product instead? The S. pharmacy won't be bothered wiyh requests? ## Hello, Robert! How are you? No, Ranbaxy products aren't manufactured under questionable conditions. They are manufactured to the same standards as all other medications that are available in the U.S. There is nothing wrong with it and no reason to be concerned. Benazepril may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I was taking blue pill as you stated and purposely switched to AMNea...

Is there any help available to help defray the cost of Oxycodone from Amnea. Iam unemployed due to accident at work . I am no longer on Workmens Comp. I currently have NO medical insurance also because of the prohibitive cost... ## There are no assistance programs for generic medications, since they are cheaper than the name brands by their very nature of being generics. And, at this time, I can't find an assistance program listed for the name brand, which could be Roxicodone, either. Have you tried checking prices at various pharmacies in your area? Your doctor may also have other ideas for alternatives that may be cheaper.

Does anyone know the difference between tramadol Hcl TEV and tramadol Hcl ACME? I take one and my mother takes the other one both 50mg but they look totally different ## oops I spelled AMNE as ACME ## All those letters stand for are the manufacturers, so they are made by different companies. Same medication, but that explains why they look different. Under Federal law, the pills must have different markings, so they can be identified in case of an emergency, this identification has to allow discovery of the active ingredient, dosage and manufacturer. For instance, the TEV stands for the pharmaceutical company TEVA. Do you have any other questions? ## And just to add, the AMNE stands for AMNEAL pharmaceuticals.

A-FIB MEDICATION ## information on amnioderone ## is light headedness and dizziness a side effect of amnioderone? other side effects please ## My mother has been taking amnioderone and was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism - apparently amnioderone increases the iodine in your body. Please have your TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) checked with a blood test; normal range is 2.5 and my mothers was 77 before a diagnosis was made. She has no energy, pain in her legs, fuzzy memory-but we're told that if the TSH returns to normal the symptons will greatly improve.

Do you have a program to help low income ppatients with getting the perscriptions that my husband and I need? Thank You ## this site does not manufacture any products, this is an information only website, so this site does not have any such programs. As to Amneal Pharma, not they do not offer an assistance program for their products, because they are a generic drug manufacturer. Most generic drugs, which are already cheaper than name brands, do not have assistance programs. The assistance programs are generally only offered for the name brand medications. That said, if you can post back with the specific medications, i will gladly check to see if there are programs available for the name brand versions. Can you please post back with more information? ## what about disalcid ?

I had my prescription filled and it says 500mg er tab amne, underneath was typed substituted for metformin 500 mg er tab wats, what's the difference ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Sorry about the confusion, pharmacies should really be a bit more precise, but I'm happy to clear this up for you. :-) The only difference is the manufacturer, the original one was manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals, which is what the wats stands for and the new one is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals, as designated by the amne. Rather than saying it's a substitute, they should really have just put a notice on it that it is the same medication, but may look different than that which you'd received before. Could you tell me if the metaformin er 500 mg is gluten free? The tablet has IP 178 imprinted on it. ## Hi Melany, Based on my research, Amneal's 500mg Metformin hydrochloride ER tablets imprinted with IP 178, reportedly contain the following set of inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide + hypromellose + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose However, gluten as well as gluten derivatives do not appear to be listed here, so you should be safe in that regard. I hope this helps!

are there reported differences in strength or quality between the hydrocodone products of the different manufacturers? ## My doctor prescribed 5mg hydrocodone /apap as needed for pain not to exceed 4 hr intervals. The pharmacy dispenses the drug from at least three different manufacturers in differing forms of tablets. Are there studies or reports comparing the pharmacokinetics or quality control results for the tablets? ## No, there are no reports to be found to give you those precise details, but yes there can be differences from one generic manufacturer to the next. They can actually differ in the amount of the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20% measured against the original name brand. Learn more Vicodin details here. This is in reference to Amneal Pharmaceutical's "7.5/325" Oxycodone, the label which also reads in part: "*7.5 mg oxycodone HCI, USP is equivalent to 6.7228 mg of oxycodone" without explaining what that means. CVS switched my brand last month and claim that all brands are the same strength. NOT SO, according to the level of pain and everyone who is in pain knows that pain does no lie. Having a website where people can rant about their product to one another is an old trick perfected by Apple, Google, and Microsoft to make us think that somehow they're part of the conversation. Do not take no for an answer in telling your doctor, pharmacist, and insurance that you insist on something that works and is in fact the strength that your doctor prescribed! ## Generics c...

So I live in Virginia and I have been on the orange pill (Buprenorphine made by Amneal) for almost two years now and the reason being because that's all I can afford. But now none of the pharmacies have them and what they do have cost $600 bucks or more and I can't afford that. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do? Can you recommend anything? Thanks ## Have you tried the strips? Many like them better than the pills. You can contact the manufacturer for free or low cost meds. ## You may also wish to check if this site's (or any other) discount card can offer a savings. There should be a price lookup tool that would at least be able to say what pharmacies in your area would charge based on your prescription. Getting in touch with the manufacturer may also...

I'm changing from Armour Thyroid to generic Levothyroxine. Any feedback as to the quality of the manufacturer, Amneal? I'm a little dizzy, and my eyes hurt and are very dry. ## They are a reputable manufacturer, but Armour Thyroid and Levothyroxine are not exactly the same, though they do treat the same conditions, so it is normal that you may experience some side effects, when you first switch. Other side effects to Levothyroxine may include weight changes, nausea, and loss of facial hair. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? ## I changed from Amour Thyroid to Nature-Throid. Amour changed the inert ingredients and I became allergic to them. I am now on Nature-Throid and it is excellent. ## I have found that I can only take the Mylan brand for some reason. Pharmacy...

I have an amneal pha pill, Smg / TMP DS 800- 160m. I was just diagnosed with chlamydia and came in for a recheck due to a symptom coming back. I have the feeling of a sore throat and I think its from doing oral with my partner. Will taking this pill help with my throat at least until my results come back from my doc? ## It will only help, if your sore throat is due to a bacterial infection, of some type. It is an antibiotic. Inappropriate use risks your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Additionally, it won't do anything to alleviate the pain and soreness. I have been taking Amneil 10-325 oxycodone for 4 yrs and found it very effective and now my pharmacist said he no longer order this and has given me Rhodes replacement which makes me very tired, nauseated and not as strong. I would. like to know if any other stores carry this brand? I saw Amneil has merged with Inpax and will Amneil ever be available again at Rite Aid or any other drug stores? ## In most cases, your pharmacist does not get to pick which manufacturer's product they carry, they usually have a distributor that they deal with, so when they reorder, they are provided with whatever company was offering the cheapest price at that time. Thus, there is no way to know which one any given pharmacy might carry. The only thing you can do it go to them, with your prescription in ...
