I am 47yrs old (male). I have been prescribed the subject medicines for high bp problems. Presently the reading is 150/82. I am also taking Rosuvas 5 for little higher VLDL levels only. Request advise ## Telmikind-H contains the active ingredients Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, both of which are commonly used to help control high blood pressure. The Telmisartan is an ARB and the Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic. Amlokind contains the active ingredient Amlodipine, its a calcium channel blocker used to help lower high blood pressure. I am 27 years old. Last year I had taken cortiflam B and D and banocide forte for one month, moteir fx LCTZ 30 and ventidox to stop the seasonal cold during the months of November, December, and January. Then I got my blood pressure checked and it was about (140-42)/(85-90). My Dr suggested I take Amlokind AT every day after breakfast. Should I take it? Are there any serious side effects? ## You should take it, if your doctor has instructed you to do so, there are far more risks associated with high blood pressure, than there are to taking the medication, such as congestive heart failure, heart attack, or stroke, if you let your blood pressure remain high. In India I was taking Amlokind Tablet daily, but now I am in Saudi Arabia and Amlokind is not available here, can I take Amlor Cap (5 mg) instead of Amlokind. Please suggest. ## HI, Shaikh! I have been detected hypertensive seven years ago. Initially I took telmakind and later repace h 50 Mg with Amlokind. But after two three years when i went to see a Doc, he did ECG and suggested that I should continue to take Repace H and Ecospirin AV. I have been taking it since. And remarkably both keep my bp exactly at 120-25/80-85. But I want to know if I can continue like this. I havent experienced any side effects. So should i continue the same medicines or go for change

My doctor advised me to change my medicine from Amlokind-L to Amlokind-AT as I have a sore throat without any apparent reason. So please advise whether I can take Amlokind-AT in place of Amlokind-L? I received Elsartan-AM generic medicine manufactured by Elders, since Amlodkind-L was not available.
