What are the interactions between Metformin, Amlodipine & Losartan taken together, and is it safe to take these together? ## I didn't find any problems, or interactions listed, but it is always best to double check to be sure. However, they are commonly prescribed together to treat diabetes, and high blood pressure. The FDA does warn that you may experience more severe side effects than usual, such more severe dizziness, and drowsiness. Ciprofloxacin can increase the amount of Amlodipine that you absorb, it can also increase the effect of Metformin, according to the FDA reports, so it's best not take them unless your doctor has said you should do so. Additionally, the Niacin may alter the effects of your Metformin and reduce its efficacy. Some of these medications may require dosage instructions, while you are taking the Ciprofloxacin.

I have been taking Armidex for breast cancer, and Triamterene and Hydrochlorothiazide, and Amlodipine Besylate for high blood pressure. Can I take extra strength Tylenol for hip joint pain? ## I am not finding any interactions or problems listed between these medications and the Acetaminophen. Losaratan is BP drug as also atenolol. These two are prescribed twice daily as single or combination drugs.. atenolol is an old prescription. I was taking amlodipine 5mg+metoprolol 50mg in the morning and ramipril 5mg in the evening. the heart rate dropped to 52-55/min. I have reduced metroprolol to 25mg since last 5 days. The interaction mentions that the consumption of grapefruit or grapefruit juice may slightly increase plasma concentrations of the drug; particularly the ingredient "Amlodipine". At this point in time, data regarding this issue has been conflicting and the clinical significance is unknown. Can I take Craztronin 500mg with high blood pressure medication? ## I decided to select a number of well known blood pressure medications from different classes to check for interactions with the antibiotic Craztronin (Azithromycin). I used the UCLA Health drug interactions checker for this. The drugs i checked against are: - Hydrochlorothiazide, HCTZ - Atenolol - Lisinopril - Losartan - Amlodipine No interactions between Azithromycin and the above blood pressure medications came up.
