Amlodipine Coated
100+ Topics FoundI have been taking 10 mg ofr Amlodipine Besylate. My problem is that it tastes horrible. Are there any of these in the generic that are coated. I gag every time I have to take this pill. Any information would be appreciated so I can ask my doctor for a pill specific if there is one! ## I don't know of any that are coated, but what I can tell you is that if you are tasting it, then you probably aren't taking it properly. Whenever you take medication, it should be places as far back in your mouth/throat, as possible, without choking yourself and immediately swallowed with a full 8 ounce glass of water. If you are tasting it, there is a good chance that you are either letting it sit in your mouth for too long, or not swallowing it with enough liquid to wash it down. If you are doin...

I have been taking Totamol(Atenonol) for quite a number of years now. I switched a couple of times to other medicines to treat my high blood pressure due to serious and numerous side effects. Once again on the Atenolol 50mg, daily and amlodipine, 5mg, blue round pill. The combination of these two pills is shedding my hair excessively. I am a 57 year old black woman and this is very traumatic for me. As I live in the Caribbean, my GP, does not take any interest in my complaint regarding my hair loss. At the moment I have a boyish crew cut, which makes me look very manly and unattractive. This has led to me feeling depressed at times, because I know that doctors here don,t see this as a problem especially at my age.
