Im taking atenolol 50mg, and afeditab 30mg. Due to my blood pressure become 94/69 at night. My doctor propose me to replace afeditab 30mg with amlodipine 2.5 mg. What is your opinion. ## Hello, Dieu! My mother is 80 years old with antihypertensive treatment. She take atonolol 50mg, amlodipine 10 mg and losartan 50 mg on morning.and lorsatan 50 mg at the evening. Today she had taken amlodipine 10 mg bd, lorsatan 50 mg bd and atenolol 10 mgbd. I have only taken 5 or 6 of the atenolol but my bp and my heart rate is fluctuating way too much. It has dropped my heart rate to 51 this morning so I'm not taking this anymore. I'm going to start taking a supplement called "under pressure". I have no other health problems except a sinus problem. I had always taken supplements for my bp which worked fine until I went to a dr for my sinuses and the dr., gave me two nasal sprays. One of them was named msg which is a steroid that caused my bp to get out of control. I have been taking Totamol(Atenonol) for quite a number of years now. I switched a couple of times to other medicines to treat my high blood pressure due to serious and numerous side effects. Once again on the Atenolol 50mg, daily and amlodipine, 5mg, blue round pill. The combination of these two pills is shedding my hair excessively. My name Gloria. 75 years. Have High blood pressure For years prescribed Pharmapress 20 mg. Atenolol 50mg and Ridac water pill. Dr took away Ridac and replaced it with Amlodipine5mg once a day.
