Amlodiphine

Can taking Amlodiphine- Benaz cause kidney pain? I was switched to this medicine and am now having bad pains seemingly worse when I need to urinate.

I changed my BP medicine to this about 3 weeks ago. Since then I have been having bad back pain that I thought was a hurt back. I have noticed increased pains when I wake up n need to urinate. Can this medicine cause kidney pain? ## Have you consulted your doctor?
