I have been taking Amitza for about 4 months. Works great but over time getting extremely tired and sharp pains throughout body. These medications both work for me but I need to have energy, no sharp pains and no weight gain. ## I added a multi-vitamin and b-12 supplement to help with energy. So far I'm doing okay. Been on Linzess for a week. It only started to work for me yesterday. Best of luck to you! ## @Kgirl, Posted below is a link to another active discussion thread here relating t...

Thank you. ## Hi Beverly, You wouldn't happen to have the full name of this medication by chance? I can go off the abbreviations, but for your own best interest, I would prefer not to guess which medications they may be, due to the wide variety of drugs out there. If you could post back with those details, that would be great. Thanks!

What is the safe way to stop taking Amitriptylin 10 mg.? I have become very irritable, restless and i can't seem to sleep as well as I did before I started taking this. ## How long have you been taking it? If it has been for a long period of time, then it should be tapered slowly. Our bodies do get used to medications when we have been taking them for a long time and you can experience some withdrawal effects if you stop abruptly. In addition, you can also experience rebound symptoms, which can be worse than the condition you started taking it to treat. Have you talked to your doctor about these problems?
