Does Aminosyn 3.5% sulfite free effectively replace food nutrition? ## This is just a crystalline amino acid solution with electrolytes; nothing more. I study in the field of nutrition and don't believe any supplement can compare to whole food nutrition; especially fresh fruits and vegetables. It is important to know that ALL whole foods contain amino acids in various quantities. The problem with supplements is that these certain nutrients are extracted from their whole food form and you are left without all the other enzymes, vitamins and minerals in that food that aid in digestion and also help other bodily functions as opposed to just doing one thing. Think of it as having a really souped up BMW and none of the special features work except being able to drive it. It is also impor...

is this better for cycling? someone adviced me to take as my vitamins during a long ride ## Moriamin forte is a multivitamin and amino acid supplement; Each capsule of Moriamin forte contains: L-Leucine 18.3 mg L-Isoleucine 5.9 mg L-Lysine 25 mg L-Phenylalanine 5 mg L-Threonine 4.2 mg L-Valine 6.7 mg L-Tryptophan 5 mg L-Meyhionine 18.4 mg Considering that provides shy of a tenth of a gram of amino acids, it's not going to be much help in building muscle I'm afraid, unless you eat them by the 1000....or are a very small person. As far as cycling goes, you don't need to cycle vitamins or amino acids. You can actually get more amino acids and vitamins from a few pieces of fruit than you would if you took this supplement. I wouldn't consider it useful at all to be honest. Th...
