I have been taking Amox/k clav875mg for 4 days for sinus infection. I have steadily been feeling ver dizzy, headache, & today a VERY sharp pain on right mid to upper back. Feels like pulled muscle. I can't stop the diarrhea....please advise how to it... ## Because diarrhea is a common side effect of Amoxicillin, to me it makes sense to stop taking what's causing the issue in the first place, and then opt for another alternative or natural remedy to kill the infection. Eating plenty of bananas may help with the diarrhea temporarily if you're veering towards the end of your Amoxicillin treatment; otherwise I'd suggest looking into the use of Oregano Essential Oil (as it is heavily regarded as being a more potent antibiotic than this drug, minus the side effects). I have enlargement of lymph nodes, can I use Amox K Clav 500-125? ## @Frank, Even though infections are the most common cause of swollen lymph nodes, it's not necessarily the only cause. For this reason I'd still encourage you to speak with your doctor about diagnosing the cause, before taking an antibiotic (if in fact you end up not needing to take it). In the event that it is an infection, Amoxicillin + Clavulanate Potassium (500 mg - 125 mg) does cover a broad spectrum of bacteria, so in my opinion it may be a feasible approach. I have a cough, wheezing chest and congestion, I've been taking OTC cold and cough for 3 days with no luck curing this condition. Amox/ K Clav (Amoxicillin + Clavulanate Potassium) will only help if the cough you are experiencing is caused by an upper respiratory infection. You could take the medication, but if it doesn't work the cough probably just needs to run its course.
