I picked up my usual prescription for Percoset and it was obvious when I opened the bottle that it was not the same manufacturer, as my medication has always been oblong white capsules by Mallinckrodt (which I just found out from my pharmacy - CVS - who aren't willing to do anything without speaking with my doctor). Anyway, I have been telling my boyfriend all weekend that these were not working and I have had to take more than prescribed. I have been in constant pain for over 3 years and I know my body well enough and my schedule well enough to know that these do not alleviate my pain unless doubled. I am FURIOUS because I never would have questioned the manufacturer thinking, as a layman in pharmaceuticals, that the ingredients would be the same but their NOT. My weekend has been ...

Alvogen 10/325 any one else feel it is not controlling their pain as well as other brands. Thanks for your input. ## Hi Annie, I have not tried the Alvogen brand specifically, but according to other related threads on here, Endo Pharmaceuticals is touted as having one of the best working Percocet tablets by comparison. My theory is that one or more of the binders/fillers that Alvogen tabs are composed of aren't able to sufficiently metabolize in our body, thus leaving part of the active ingredient(s) lying dormant within. I don't know if this makes much sense to anyone else who may be reading, but it seems like a feasible possibility since each manufacturer uses a different set of inactive ingredients. ## Thank you very much for answering my question, in your opion it will work ...

got rx filled oxycodone 10-325 made by alvogen but pill is yellow oval and has 3610 on one side and v on the other they don't work HELP ## These tablets are manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are they not helping your pain, at all? ## I am having the same problem. Is there a percocet 10mg that is round with the number 230 written on it and a imprint with the letter V on it ? I think I may have the wrong prescription given to me wanted to make sure ? ## There is a pale yellow one with the logo of Alvogen Pharmaceuticals that resembles a Chinese V and the number 230 on the opposite side. It contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone. Learn more Percocet details here. I need to know the cost of this pill and reassurance as to whether it's still being manufactured by Labormed? I will not honor and fill my prescription with any other manufacturers. ## Hi Chris, From what I could gather, Alvogen acquired Labormed Pharmaceuticals on January 15th, 2013. Alvogen would therefore need to be contacted instead regarding their current line of products and which pharmacies they distribute them to. However if you're able to look up the manufacturer's web page (Alvogen Pharmaceuticals), and check their product directory, I found that they do show a photo of the tablet in question.
