I read this information about the pills on here and people want to make you think your crazy about medicine you have been taking for years. Like I have been taking the WATSON brand Oxycodone 10/325 for years and 1 always worked. It was the only pain med I was taking. I get up in the morning and hurt so bad I would take 1 and with in 15 minutes I felt I could make it through the day. I always had some left over every month. On Jan 2014 I went to get my meds filled and all the sudden no one seems to have the WATSON brand so I got stuck with ACTAVIS brand pill A333 on it for the whole month of Jan I hurt so bad then in Feb I told my Dr when I got my Prescription he told me to try another pharmacy. I did and I got the ALVOGEN Pill Yellow 230 and the same thing. it worked a little better but...

Yes, this is manufactured by Alvogen and they do list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is your question?? Your post makes no sense ## In my experience, which is 50/50 I also was given the white ones which provided 2 out of 3 months some pain relief. The 4th, this months is the only yellow so far and they are awful. Zero Pain Relief. I have not found this brand to exh...

I take Percocet all the time every 6 hours. This time i noticed the pill was round instead of oblong and has 230 on one side. This pill is worthless, I feel absolutely nothing. NO PAIN RELIEF AT ALL. This pill is a fake, a sugar pill or something. I paid $91 dollars cash for this, now i'm broke with no medication. There is no medical properties in this pill what so ever. I've been ripped off like some common drug pusher. How do I live now? The first thing I should do is call the FBI, then the FDA and the police too. ## What do I do? who cares?,Whom do I contact next? signed left in pain. My last 2 months of taking Alvogen 10/325 are turning faint yellow and look like they have been in water as the shape and medicine doesn't seem to be that effective. Can you tell me why the pill is changing its color and not effective as of 3 months ago? I may have been taking the Watson brand or some other brand. ## Hi Judy, Are you meaning to say that the new prescription is yellow when you get them filled or that the pills gradually turn yellow [perhaps through oxidation or other unknown causes] while you have them in your possession? If the latter, I think that is really strange and this is probably the first time I've heard of something like that happening to any pharmaceutical. If I were you I'd consider contacting the pharmacy who filled your prescription and ask them...

There is a noticeable difference in the pain relief level. Chronic Arthritis has left me virtually an invalid. Without these meds I have extreme difficulty moving and sometimes merely being at rest. I find the same prescription filled with Midlothian mgf to be less effective than the generic manufactured by Alvogen. Is there a difference in the formulation? Is there a possibility the midlothian brand is counterfeit? Prescription filled by Publix, usually from Alvogen but occasional from Midlothian. Hence the question. ## Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% in the amount of the active ingredients, sometimes problems arise, because they do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand....

Went for my new prescription of Percocet today. Saw a P/A. Was given a totally new script: Alvogen Oxycod/ACET 10mg/325mg. Lower left bottom yellow label states 10mg oxycodone HCI is equivalent to 8.9637mg of oxycodone. This medicine is not working at all. Whats wrong? ## There can be differences from one generic medication to another, as was granted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, they are allowed to differ by as much as plus or minus 20% in the amount of the active ingredients. This was done to help bring generics to market faster and the FDA considers it an acceptable therapeutic window. Most people never notice a difference, however, some people are very sensitive to any change in their medication, or they may notice a difference, if they've been taking the same one for a long ...

Alvogen 10/325 any one else feel it is not controlling their pain as well as other brands. Thanks for your input. ## Hi Annie, I have not tried the Alvogen brand specifically, but according to other related threads on here, Endo Pharmaceuticals is touted as having one of the best working Percocet tablets by comparison. My theory is that one or more of the binders/fillers that Alvogen tabs are composed of aren't able to sufficiently metabolize in our body, thus leaving part of the active ingredient(s) lying dormant within. I don't know if this makes much sense to anyone else who may be reading, but it seems like a feasible possibility since each manufacturer uses a different set of inactive ingredients. ## Thank you very much for answering my question, in your opion it will work ...
