After falling I was suffering from sciatica more than a year. I consulted Orthoand he proscribed me TabGabWin 75 M and Iconac-MR 8. I ha swelling in my ankle and foot. After waiting for 3days when the swelling is coming down and the Ortho proscribed capsule Altraday. could you please let me know altraflam -p is prescribed for what?Is it a painkiller?Couls i use it for migraines? ## Altraflam-P is a pain killer which contains anti inflammatory (Aceclofenac) and pain reliever (Paracetamol / Acetaminophen). I suffer from pain in both knees. I also suffer from pain in my left ankle region which my doctor tells me is due to "inflammation". He has prescribed me Altraday - 1 tablet every night at bed time for 5 nights and says it should not be taken too often. I do not get a clear answer from him on how often is "too often". I have experimented on my own and found that 1 tablet a day gives me good relief from pain for the first 24 hours and somewhat reduced relief for the next 24 hours. I have asteoarthitis and severe pain in right knee/ I consulted the Orthopedic Surgeon and he advised me to take altraday capsule occasionally whenever I have severe pain or at the time of sitting folding legs.
