Hi. My 90 year old Aunt suffered food poisoning a few months ago and was hospitalized. She has taken a daily laxative for years- which worked effectively and predictably. She has been put on Altosec 20 for months now - her bowel movements are now more urgent and frequent. Is this a side effect or an intolerance of the Altosec? Since the food poisoning, she is also taking a daily vitamin - DS-24- vitamins/minerals including iodine 140ug, 20mg calcium, choline 5mg and molybdenum. Is the Altosec 20mg perhaps too strong? Not compatible with some listed minerals? Appreciate your advice. Many thanks. ## Hello, Louise! How is your aunt doing?
