Hi! It is my first time to take pill..i tried althea butwhile taking i always had headaches so i decided to stop it after i finished 1pack..after that 1 pack of althea i immediately had mens on the fifth day..my prob is we hav intercourse wid my husband but uses withdrawal method..i am expecting to hav my mens on the 28day but its 4days now but it didnt come yet..am i pregnant?im afraid to check coz im just 5mos from my 2nd cs op..please nid advice..tnx ## Hello, Mayvin! hi. i'm suffering hormonal imbalance for 3 months and my ob told me to use althea for 6 months after using provera. i'm really afraid to use pills. is der any way to regulate my period without using those pills? ## For the best outcome and success, it is best to follow your doctor's instructions. I supposed to take a new strip of althea last Sunday Jan 12 on my first day of period but i forgot and only remembers today Jan 17. Can i still start the new strip after the period, today Jan 17? Please need to know as soon as possible or today. Thank you! ## Hello, Donna! How are you? I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by taking a strip. I started taking Althea last April 2017, my OB asked me to take the pill since I have PCOS and that I has cyst on my left and right ovary, right after I finished the first pack I can say that I was satisfied with the result since I got my period 5days, but when I take the 2nd pack I had light period like light spotting never had a heavy flow, the spotting takes 2 days, I still continue taking the pill though but since May up until now I no longer had a normal period like what I had last May, is this normal? Hi! last october 2016, my period didn't came. I only had some spotting for 4 days. I went to my Obgyne to check if I'm pregnant or not. The result of my pregnancy test was negative. She then told me to do a Trans-V Ultrasound and later on, we found out that I have PCOS. She then told me to drink Provera for 10 days so that I'll have my period and to take Althea Pills on the very first day of my period. However, it's been 5 days now since I took my 10th Provera but still, my period didn't come. What should I do now? Should I start taking Althea Pills even without my period? Hi good evening .I am confused of what day should i start taking althea pills. I am having a menstration right now august 11 . I ended taking it last august 5 .august 12 is the expected date for me to take it .i dont know if i need to start it right now or should i wait tomorrow to take it? I'm planning to take Althea Pills, but I am already on the 3rd day of my period. I am aware that I should be taking the pill on the first day of my menstruation. My husband is coming for a vacation for a month. I know that I don't have time to wait for my next period since he will be on his way back abroad by then. Hello, I have an irregular period and i'm 22 years old. my doctor told me that I have hormonal imbalance and PCOS. They then told me to take Provera for me to have my period, i waited for a couple of days and then it came, When I went back to the doctor, she said I should take Althea on the first day of my next period and do it for 6 months. I'm so confused . I'm using trust pills and it's already my 3rd day of my period and I want to switch to Althea pills. Today is Wednesday, how ever the start day on the chart is Sunday what should I follow?
