Alternative To I Site Capsules

I site capsules are prescribed for my father aged 85. I felt the cost for this nutritional supplement is very high. May i know the other alternatives or brands that are available as alternatives to i-site capsules with almost similar ingredients. ## I site capsules are prescribed to me cost high as Rs 13 FOR ONE CAPSULE of SUN pHARMA , I want to cpmare the cost of same I-site cpasule by other pharma company .May i know the other alternatives or brands that are available as alternatives to i-site capsules with almost similar ingredients.

Does this capsule contain any non-veg ingredient and if not, then why red mark is there in its wrapper? What is the veg alternative for this capsule? ## Still looking answer for this question, Can anyone atleast Sun Pharma, the manufacturer respond ? ## I used to take the old I-site capsules and it used to have green (veg) dot on it. Then people found out the capsule itself was made of gelatin (non-veg) material. I'm not sure what the non-veg ingredients exactly are but the gelatin container is surely non-veg, hence they stopped putting green dot on it. If that is the only non-veg component, it may be possible to simple cut it open and take out the ingredients, and throw away the container-capsule. I stay in Hyderabad,India. I was looking for inositol capsules which would be easily available in my city as a nutritional supplement. I came across the following 3 drugs with high composition of Inositol(>100 mg per tablet)listed on MIMS india page but neither of them was available in the market. ALCRIN / ALCRIN-M / JETOSITOL. Any idea in which medical store any of the above mentioned tablets will be available? If not what would be the best alternative tablet available with reasonable pricings? this needs to fit over prozac 20 mg for safe swallowing by a patient with an active gag reflex. if the proxac isn't covered and opens enroute, she burn her vocal chords. ## NEEDED - A CLEAR CAPSULE TO FIT OVER A PROZAC 20 mg AND PREVENT IT FROM OPENING DURING SWALLOWING ## I'm sorry, this site does not manufacture nor sell any products. this is an information only website. Prozac is available in 20mg capsules, so her doctor may need to specifically write the prescription that way, or you may have to request them from the pharmacy, instead of tablets.
