prescribed for my dog would like to know what it is and side affects ## Dog has diabetes ## I will admit that I am not terribly familiar with medicating canines, however, from what I've managed to find, it seems to be used in dogs in a similar way to the way it's used in humans. It is a gastro-intestinal medication, mainly used to treat ulcers, but also some gases of GERD. Common listed side effects include: nausea, headache and constipation, but I have no idea if these would be the same for dogs. You can read more about the medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## She asked about sucralsate You answered about sucralfate? No indication it’s the same drug!!

wine with meals is it alright to drink wine with my meals while i .am on jantoven? my heart doctor says it is ok ? my regular doctors says to drink only half glass a day. I only drink red wine with my meals. ## Hello, Joseph! How are you? My cardiologist also says that it's okay, in moderation, of course. But, it is normal for a doctor to want you to be cautious, especially a PCP. Most people tell them they don't drink, or they only drink one or two glasses, when they are really drinking far more. For you, the biggest issue is that wine can also cause some blood thinning, which could be problematic with the Jantoven. The FDA classifies it as a blood thinner and its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, easy bruising and increased risk of bleeding. Really,...

I had dental surgery on Nov.16. They prescribed me amoxicillin and acetaminophen with codeine. On Dec. 08, I had more teeth pulled. They gave me a local anesthetic and a gum swab, and then prescribed Ibuprofen 800. I also used a Vicks Vapor Inhaler for 1 week. How long do these things stay in your system? On Dec. 28, my UA tested positive for a Benzo. Is this possible? Please I need something to help me prove my innocence, because I haven't taken anything but the things mentioned above. ## +i'm having the same problem just 2 months later it is really frustrating as i was doing mine for a job that pays well but this is the first time out of 20 drug tests i have failed and this only after i had my teeth pulled

I tore my ACL about 4 years ago, and no one will operate on it.I have been dealing with Oxycodone addiction since i was first prescribed my 5 mg percocet. I am currently DETOXING from around 500 MG of oxycodone per day for about the last 4 months. I've Dt'd many times before, but i am in it for the long haul this time. I haven't slept in two nights and tonight isn't seeming to be very promising either. I'm just looking for some support, maybe someone to talk to through the harder times. Also if anyone knows of any OTC medications that may help get me through it would be greatly appreciated. this brand doesn't seem to work as well as the sandoz brand of my bp med ## I got my prescription filled at the same pharmacy, etc. they switched from Sandoz to qualitest and I've developed a horrible body odor. I know it's from the drug as absolutely nothing else has changed, (soap, lotion, diet, etc) and I had the same thing happen once when I tried a certain brand of diet shake. as soon as I stopped using it, the odor went away. not sure what I can do with the 90 day supply or how I can get the Sandoz now. ## Reilly - eat yogurts 3 a day and 2 apples. Also get a big bag of dried apricots at the health food store and munch. Water, water, water! Also try milk thistle extract from health food store. It'll help some. I have been a Methadone patient for nearly 8 years and took about 2 months to get clean upon starting treatment. For nearly 7 years I've been at monthly take-homes. I've never used again nor had another dirty drug screen. Let me say this b/c I think it's part of the problem I'm about to address. I switched to a Crossroads treatment facility about 2 years ago due to moving and have had numerous issues here. The latest is that I had two dirty screens; the 1st showed up suboxone big I didn't confirm it at my counselor's suggestion since I'd never been dirty before. The reason I chose not to it b/c he said nothing could be mistaken for this substance in a drug test. And since they also dose suboxone at this clinic I thought they may have mixed up the drug test wi...

I have been off Lexapro for almost a week now (1 year on 20mg) I am having horrible withdrawals eg. Feeling like Im being zapped through my head chest & arms, especially when I move, insomnia, feeling obsessive, feeling manic, no concentration, feeling like I'm not myself and so on.. I'm just wanting to know if there is anything I can do as I am so close to just starting back on them, I don't know if I can handle this ## Hello, Emily! How are you doing? Have things improved, at all, yet? That is fairly typical for withdrawal from SSRIs, according to the information provided by the FDA. Generally, tapering is preferred, rather than stopping cold turkey, to prevent the worst of the withdrawal and rebound effects. You may also experience nausea, chills and diarrhea. It usua...

I take Benadryl for allergies daily. I'm also taking Suboxone. Recently I gave a urine and my councilor told me it came up neg for the Suboxone. I take 12 mg daily and have never missed a day in the last three years. Could the Benadryl cause this result in my urine ? Has this ever happened to anyone else. I'm frustrated because I'm being suspected of diverting my med and I have done nothing wrong. ## This is a follow up to an earlier post. I was informed that I had a neg result for suboxone in a UA. My counselor told me it was neg and I couldn't do anything about it. I was persistent that I take my meds EVERY day. My counselor has the lab reevaluate my urine. The result came back for Suboxone. The lab admitted they made a mistake. I urge anybody who finds themselves in a...

I am in drug court and I came up positive for LSD on a drug screen. I haven't used LSD! I'm taking no prescription drugs whatsoever except over the counter Aleve on a daily basis. I do, however have chronic liver disease that is bad. I told the court and they are sending the urine in for confirmation testing. Will liver disease affect a drug test? Can it make me show up positive for LSD? Also, will the confirmation test safely confirm that I haven't taken it? I'm so upset because I know I haven't taken it! Please help!

Hi, I'm really upset today because I'm in drug rehab (voluntarily) and was told today that I tested positive last week for opiates and benzodiapines. I am positive that I haven't taken any of these! I have been really working hard in rehab and am devastated by this'! I had one relapse and admitted it, even though it never came up on a test. The only medications that I have been taking any differently are some nighttime cold medicine for cough and a generic like Walgreens version if Benadryl during the day for allergies. Also I'm on prescriptions; Wellbutrin, Buspar, Resperidone and Trazadone, but I've been on them for awhile and haven't come up positive.
