Alprazolam 0 25mg

GDMRNG,as i am sufferring with backcone pain & i used to use restil tablet inorder to get sleep as i met ortho doc for backbone pain he suggested me to take this medicine instead of restil to get sleep.so please tell me the usage and side effects of this medicine.

I've been prescribed Azor 0,25 as a calming tablet labelled one a day. I'm breastfeeding a 10 month old boy. I am anxious all most all the time, not sleeping well so last week my Dr prescribed me melotonin 6mg for night and thiamine for in the morning because of panic attacks. My memory is foggy, I have very little energy and might be depressed. Will this Azor / combination of things help and is it ok while breastfeeding ? It's 0,25g a white pill. Can it be split? ## It can be cut, but taking it while breastfeeding may cause sedation for your baby, according to U.S. FDA reports. They also warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. As long as it has the same active ingredient it will work the same as any of the others. What is the best USP alprazolam available ? ## There is really no way to say that any particular one is the best, while in theory they are all the same, there can be differences in generic medications. This means that there can be different fillers, which may affect how well they work for certain people, plus the slight fluctuations that can be present in the amount of the active ingredient may cause problems for people that are sensitive to such changes. Hi. I just got a round small pill with a line going through the middle on one side and nothing on the other. I was told by my chemist it was the generic. Is this the same as my old one (pink oval)? ## Never heard of a 0.1MG Alprazolam. When you say "you were told by your chemist" is this a street chemist? We usually go to a pharmacy and speak with Pharmacology Doctor. Then this 'Doctor' gives us a pill with a NDC # embossed on the pill. Along with that comes a printed handout with all the information needed in regards to the pill(s) dispensed. What country are you writing in from? ## What is a oval pink pill with a line through the middle that's about the size of a Benadryl? I have .25mg. But they taste like baby aspirin. ## Hello, According to several comments I'm seeing regarding its taste, alprazolam is frequently described as being very "bitter". However I think a lot of the taste attributes you find in a pill may vary depending upon the types of binders/fillers used throughout different manufacturers as well. Having said that, if you're trying to identify a pill based on taste alone, it seems to me like it would also be a good idea to have it analyzed by a lab just to be on the safe side. I am 48 years old... I have a sleeping problem and depression... Doctor told me to take Alprazolam .25mg but I feel like I am not getting a very deep sleep. So if I take two or three .25mg, is it safe for me? Please advise. ## No it is not a sleeping pill and is not safe to take in amounts not prescribed by your doctor. The dose you are taking is relatively small but if you double or triple up, when you run out the rebound anxiety will be that much stronger and can even lead to withdrawal problems ## Asis, NO it is not a sleeping pill. I'd suggest finding a competent prescriber. By multiplying your dose you put yourself in jeopardy for increased insomnia and dependence of this very potent benzodiazepine. Granted your dosage is relatively low but these meds can create rebound anxiety...

I just got Alprazolam 0.5 mg that are oval, dark pink and the company is BRECKRDG. Been on them 6 days and they are NOT HELPING MY anxiety/depression at all!!! Very agitated!! They used to work but the last Rx filled did not work at all. I've read that alprazolam by the manufacturer "Greenstone" is the best/closest to name-brand Xanax and work good. We called our pharmacy and asked them to note in daughters file that all future alprazolam Rx please dispense Greenstone brand (they did not carry that one but said they will order a supply in). I take Alprazolam 0.25 mg for anxiety. I split pill at night and take other half later. Which is stronger - Chlordiaz/clid 5/2.5 mg or Alprazolam 0.25mg? ## Really? For one they are completely different drug categories. Alprazolam is xanax..for anxiety and chlordiazclid (chlordiazclidinium) is for heart burn so obviously the alprazolam is stronger as in having a high effect ( .25 is the lowest dose) because chlordiazclid doesnt have one at all.

What is the negative side effect of 5.25mg of Adco Alzam is taken. Is this considered an overdose? And is there a long term side affect to it. What do you do if I suspect my friend took an overdose? ## This contains the active ingredient Alprazolam, which is a Benzodiazepine, it is in effect a depressant/sedative, so yes, someone does have to be careful how much they take. Usually it is only given in a maximum of 3mgs a day, in a time released tablet. However, whether or not 5.25mgs is too much depends on the person taking it and their tolerance to it, some people can handle much larger doses.
