I bought xanax and received dark blue footballs, chalky white inside. I've seen on this site that people assume that a stamped Xanax guarantees Xanax but that is not true! Anyone can buy a stamp that says anything they want it to. Anyway, has anyone else bought dark blue xanax with white inside. The stamp, which may or may not be legitimate says Xanax 1.0 with only a middle score on the other side. They came from Hong Kong in tiny baggies. CAN YOU TAKE BOTH OF THESE MEDS? WHAT ARE REACTIONS IF ANY? ## I'm not sure why you are on one medication (Xanax) that depresses your system, and another (Adderall) that is a stimulant. Perhaps the Adderall is to help you with ADHD? That is typically the only reason one takes Adderall...if they have a focusing deficit and need the mediciine to concentrate. Some people who have ADD are very wired and excitable so doctors put them on things like Clonodine, (but usually not Xanax), to help calm them down. Xanax can cause marked drosiness, blurred vision, lethargy. Adderall can cause heart palpitations, over excitement, diarrhea. ## Have they both been prescribed for you? light green scored, no imprint oval/ rectangular shaped, supposed to be a Xxanax from another country....found several in teenagers room and was told this information. I found some 3 scored "xanax".On 1 side there is a 5 in each bar. On the other side the first square has a TV in it. 2Nd squre is blank and 3 square has either a 1003 or 100B (hard to tell). That said, it contains 15mgs of Buspirone, which is used to treat anxiety and though it is in a different class of medications, many people do think it's similar to Xanax, but it's not a benzodiazepine. XANAX - ALPRAZOLAM Is it safe to take a prescribed low dose like 0.5 3x day long term? Is it low enough to not make a withdrawl problem if I stop it suddenly? I need something besides fluoxetine-prozac to calm me but I do not want to take any risk of impaired memory or any other side effects? ## jkl ## This is a tricky question in the sense that every medication is going to effect each individual differently; however from a general point of view, taking such a small dose in order to taper off is a good thing. Personally, I would consider attempting it for a given number of days just to see how you react; and only if it becomes unbearable due to any sudden onset of symptoms or reactions, will you know whether or not you should up the dose a little bit and taper off at a more gradual pace...

The FDA requires all manufacturers to use unique markings, so they can be traced back to the original manufacturer, in case of emergency. These markings also allow you to discover the dosage. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and irritability. no lettering and scored in the middle just like a normal blue football...came from friends aunts script...is it really xanax and what mlg?? ## If it has no markings on the tablet, then it IS NOT a legal U.S. prescription tablet for Xanax or anything else. The only way to know for sure what it contains would be to pay to have it lab tested. All U.S. prescription medications are required by law to have an imprint that enables their identification. Very sorry, I wish I could be of more help!

People should not be thinking that 1mg of xanax dyed blue would be any different, strength wise to the same amount of alprazolam using green dye. The crazy things people make themselves believe about meds never ceases to amaze me. 1mg of xanax is 1mg of alprazolam, no matter what it looks like. Doesn't even make sense.... ## Well yes but no. Many people that take Xanax are not 100 well. I used to count my Xanax in piles, and worry when the pile got small. I just found out that Actavis was bought out by Watson! Fist they were PurePac then Actavis (yellow bars) and they were the a 10 on a scale of 1-10. All benzos as most of you probably know that are made by Watson are terrible. My pharmacy special orders Actavis Clonazepam for me and I asked for them to do the same but they called me back and said her computer said Actavis but she was sent Watson. Its also all over the net. I wonder if this means out beloved and most potent clonazepam and alprazolam will be Watson when they run out. Ivax was bought by Teva and now the script bottle says Ivax but the pills say Teva. my kid had some pills a boy gave her and said they where xanaxs. but i searced what they looked like and I can only find the ones im lookin for to have a image on one side, but they had U 94 on both sides white rectangle, bar the slang word I guess. I've recently been prescribed Xanax for anxiety and I accidently broke one but I still took it. I know it says not to crush or chew tablet but will I be okay ? ## As a rule, any scored pill is safe to break. You would have no problem ## @Teresa, I don't know if your pill has one, but Eddy is right about the score line. One other note worth mentioning is that if it's not an extended-release tablet then you shouldn't have anything to worry about concerning its efficacy or rate of absorption. Our stomach acid would naturally disintegrate the tablet's composition as it is. I believe they just have that warning label concerning the crushing or chewing of a tablet to dissuade potential abuse. Hope this helps! purple football with an imprint of IFA, is this IFA the manufacturer? is it xanax? thought this was a one 1mg, but normally are blue. ## I believe the purple xanax is the equivalent of about 4 x 2mg of clonazapam.....they r strong....either break them in 2 or take a very strong pill! If there is one higher it would quite likely be from a foreing country. Highest zanax in U.S. is the white or grean 2mlg. I was on a methadone clinic for almost 15 years. Does 2mg xanax come in green color? ## Well, the main issue is the colors don't actually mean anything. I've seen it listed in green, white and several other colors, as the generic, depending on which manufacturer is making it. Can you post back with the imprint from the tablet?
