Why is there a shortage of Vivarin? ## I am also wanting know why there seems to be a shortage in stores of Vivarin!! What is going on? ## I'm sorry, but since this is an over the counter product, shortages aren't required to be reported, so I've been unable to find any information on it. This is just something that contains caffeine, which is sold as an alertness aid, so you can effectively achieve the same thing with any store brand/generic, or caffeinated drinks. Found a Orange Round Pill Only a V on one side, no numbers or letters on the other side. It is very thick. Do u k now what it possibly may be? ## I can't find any prescription medications that just have a V marking on them, but there is an over the counter product available that meets this description. They are usually yellow in color, but while doing an image search, I did find a generic brand with the same marking that is darker in color, so it appears orange.
