Albuterol Nebulizer

After using albuterol in a nebulizer for about six applications, my body - especially my hands - were shaking uncontrollably. I refused further doses, beginning 36 hours ago. The shaking is better, but still severe. Question: how long can I expect this drug to remain in my system? ## Hello, Grammy! How are you feeling? That can be a normal side effect of this medication, as listed by the FDA. Other side effects, may possibly include dry mouth, dizziness, headache and insomnia. You weren't on it for very long, so it should only take a few days for things to settle back down. Is there anything else I can help with?

Each medication that they can offer for such low prices, such as $4, $8 or $10 are under a contractual agreement with the manufacturer…. an agreement that the manufacturer has the option of ending, once it runs out. Many of them will just renew, but some elect not to and you end up with drastic price changes like this. I was given a prescription for brovana and budesonide to use in my nebulizer. I used my albuterol 6 hours ago in the nebulizer. Is it safe to use brovana and budesonide? Is it ok to use now? ## Is there anybody that uses Brovana and Budesonide in nebulizer twice a day? Is there any side effects I need to know about? Recently, I had a scheduled appointment with my primary physician. I had a chest cold, which is rare for me. The doctor gave me an Albuterol nebulizer treatment, a Medrol 6-day pack, and an inhaler as treatment for the chest cold, which I didn't need. I consider this too many medications for just a chest cold, and that wasn't the reason I was seeing her. But I took the first two, but did not use the inhaler. During the next few weeks, I had two episodes where my throat seized up, once when a bit of water went down the wrong way, and then when I swallowed salad dressing with a hot pepper flake in it. I took double dose of prednisone 60mg in one day 9 hours apart for sinus infection. Should I be worried? ## I was given a 24 hr prednisone shot yesterday to help with my tight chest and coughing. They prescribed 60 mg for 3 days as I had been taking 40mg 2 days prior. I would like to split the dosage so I don't cough at night. My fiance used abuterol for years, and I know used it as needed as prescribed by the physician, he used it well more than advised and never once had a false positive. He had severe asthma, was on two types of inhalers, two types of medicine for nebulizer plus oral medication. I know he was tested several times a month, not one positive result. ## If you want to see a false positive result, try using Albuterol (specifically Ventolin) within a 24 Hr period with a professional drug test. The fact that people do raise the question while people have had false positives such as with benzo's like oxzepam and the Dr.'s say there is no record for it to try to make it sound like Albuterol has lesser flaws to it then it does. I go to pain management. They had tested me and said I was dirty for methamphetamine. Now they say they cant give me my meds. But I don't use meth or any drugs. I have tested positive for Amph could one of this done that. ## Will Atrovent HFA 17 meg/inh or Ventolin HFA (albuterol sulfate) make me test positive for methamphetamine on a urine drug test? ## I tested positive for amphetamines. Firstly, I am 150lbs overweight. I use albuterol solution in a nebulizer everyday. I also have lung/heart disease so bad my pro air albuterol inhaler is a PRN rx. I also am diabetic and take glipzide, victoza and metformin and I have hypothyroidism. Is there any way I could ever pass an ETG alcohol test?
