Diagnosed with Ahlers-Danlos Syndrome almost 12 years now... I have chronic pain everywhere as all my joints are bone on bone. Without going into detail... I have the MTHFR mutation: compound heterozygosity c.665C.>T?1268A>C. This defect may lead to early arteriosclerotic vascular disease or venous thrombosis and toxicity from medications affecting folate metabolism. I have a homocysteine level on the high side of normal(three times the low level). This doctor gives his patients this vitamin combo because levodopa can cause high elevation of homocysteine is associated with the above diseases. Has anyone been prescribed this combo for PD by their neurologist or cardiologist? Which generic brand of Folbic or the others in this group contains
