My son aging nearly six years was noticed with weakness of limbs.Neurologist referred for blood for CPK.Later muscle biopsy was carried.His disease was diagnosed as Muscle Dystrophy.His all symptoms were /are similar to DMD as viewed on internet.The Neurologist in Peshawar(Pakistan) started treatment with 8 tablets prednisolone twice daily with other medicines of tonic,vitamins and calcium for more than four years. Later it was noticed that Prednisolone (detla cortril) weakened his moving capacity of his body,hands and feet.A Neuralogist in Islamabad told that it was due to long use of detacortrill.
