can you get fired from your job for insufflating adderall and i'm prescribed this medication ## Hi Monkey, How's it going? Concerning your question about intranasal use potentially getting you fired, I don't think anyone else from your work place is going to be suspicious about whether or not you're taking your medication inappropriately, unless of course they know that you're on it and you give them reason to believe that it's affecting the quality of your work. That said, nothing I'm seeing states that intranasal use is quote on quote "against the law", but none-the-less, that type of behavior isn't tolerated in any work place I'm aware of. Is this something you do at your desk in between breaks? Lol How else would they know? ## my boss call...

In December I was diagnosed w/ cataracts in both eyes (I'm only 54). Two days ago I heard an ad on TV for Nasonex & it mentioned cataracts were a possible side effect. I used Nasonex for a few months a couple of years ago & I just bet it's the culprit behind my eye problems. Anyone else in the same boat as me? ## Nasonex may cause cataracts or glaucoma, or it can make these conditions worse, however, the problem you are going to have is the burden of proof. Do you have any medical evidence that will show that you got them from using the Nasonex and not due to some other reason? These legal suits don't really net anyone any money, other than the lawyers that are involved, if one does get filed and the only people that can get any type of recompense are those with proo...

Does anyone know about a new law that people ok over 62 can no longer b d prescribed for anyone over 62 for Xanax & Robxin by primarily y care doctor. That is what happened when I went to my 6 months appointment Thursday. I am 65 & I don't feel I am a fall risk. I am a young 65. Never have had any problems with these drugs & don't abuse them. Don't understand not doing on an individual basis not putting all over 62 people all together. I have had Gastric bypass & most drugs don't work well for me. Doctor gave me 3 meds to replace & can't take any of them, especially Effessor that is a time release capsule which with Gastric bypass it moves so fast you get hit hard & then it is gone. This seems so unfair that your age is against you. Someone ne...

my doctor told me today that he cant taper me off methadone because its against the law??wtf huh!! ## Are you seeing a general practitioner? If so, the real issue is that he can't continue to prescribe it, or handle tapering or anything for a chronic pain patient that requires ongoing treatment. Under the new laws, if you require long-term pain management, you will have to switch to a pain management specialist. A general practitioner can only prescribe such medications for a short period of time, such as right after someone has had surgery, or been in an accident. Learn more Methadone details here. Is it the only medication you're on?

seeking a dr who will subscribe monthly methadone 10 milligram pills ## Hello, Walter! How are you? If you are taking it for addiction/maintenance, then a regular doctor will not be able to prescribe it for you. It would be against the law for them to do so. It can only be administered in a clinical setting by those that have been specially trained in its use for such. If you require it for pain management, then due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, as a general practice doctor can no longer do pain management and prescribe such medications. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If i...

Is sandoz lorazepam the same as watson or actavis? I mean, the same brand? I heard that they are same company or same manufacturer. I took watson but due to serious side effect (panic attack, heart pounding, dehydration, choking, asthma, internal tremor, insomnia) with no calming effect, I was very ill so could not take it. Rite aid accepted return, but CVS did not accept return when I got serious side effect from leading pharma lorazepam at once so could not take it. CVS said in California, once patients receive any medicine they can not return it as it is against the law. Then why rite aid accepted return? CVS also told me that no transfer is allowed. But for controlled substance, one transfer is allowed as I experienced a lot of times before. Once patient bought it unless they return...

Does anyone have problems with the new Colorado "Recommendations" Laws that limits non-cancer patients to 120mg. per day? I have had 4 different doctors quit because it's become ridiculous for them in helping actual patients. I have been disabled since 1996 and have undergone 11 abdominal surgeries. I have never abused pain medication, nor filled one early. I understand trying to stop the illicit drug and Script abuse, but they are hurting myself and other legitimate patients. I wish there was a group who had the ability to bring a legal case against these policies, or something to help. The current 120mg. limit just isn't helping enough to stop pain, but it seems there is no choice. No wonder people turn to illicit drugs. Anyone else with the same problem? I would appre...

Had all the paperwork filed with a law firm, just to get declined for my fathers suit against the darvocet... I cannot find a lawyer to represent us.. my dad took this pill for 35 years. We have all the paperwork etc we need for the suit. Can anyone help me with this?? I know its goin up to the courts in nov. but we have had the paperwork filed for 3 years... xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy} ## What reason did they give for declining to include him in the suit? There is always a certain burden of proof that must be met, in order to substantiate ones claims that health issues were caused by a certain medication. Learn more Darvocet details here. The fact that he took it for that long is not enough to give him a valid claim against the manufacturers.

I need to know what they put in this medication that has my U/A coming up positive for morphine and oxycodone. I dont understand because I dont take these two drugs. I asked a pharmacist and was told its against the law for her to answer the question and that sounds like the worst lie I ever heard. My job knows that I take the medication but with these other two drugs coming up my job is at stake and I need answers. I love me and there's no way in hell I would take three different narcotics. I dont have a cell so I'm using my co-workers phone, so can someone help me get to the bottom of this ASAP? Please someone. Another thing, what is the other 5mg because it says 50/5mg. These days it's common for FM doctors to deny patients opiates on the grounds that studies have proven opiates to be ineffective against pain relief for FM. I've been unable to find any study supporting this that was not partly funded by Pfizer. This is problematic because Pfizer was convicted earlier this year of violating federal racketeering laws for it's marketing practices, which included making false claims about the effectiveness and lack of negative side effects of certain of its drugs. Perhaps you could help in this research. The next time a doctor tells you opiates have been proven ineffective against FM pain relief, ask: Do you know of any study supporting your position that was not funded by racketeers? Has anyone found Lyrica to be an effective replacement for o...

I live in Pennsylvania. I receive a 28 day prescription of subutec at 16mg a day. My Dr miscalculated and is on vacation and won't return until 32 after my last appointment. Which leaves me 4 days without my medication. He told me that it is against the law to call anything in for me and that I have to try and stretch what I have to make it until he can see me. Is that true or is it legal and possible for him to call in the 4 day prescription until I can see him? Especially based on the mistake being on his part and not on mine. Could I go to an Er and receive the subutec if it is against the law to call it in? I dont know what to do and I am frustrated with the situation. ## The doctor is correct, it is now against the law for him to call it in for you. It must be a new prescriptio...
