Glycosidase is an important class of enzyme catalyzing many catabolic processes, including cleaving glycoproteins and glycolipids, and polysaccharides. Specifically, α-GAL catalyzes the removal of the terminal α-galactose from oligosaccharides.[1] The enzyme is encoded b...

All you ever hear is the negativity and treat those whom really help and lack of help other than psychiatrists. 50/60 % provide nothing but want to talk and charge $$$$. That's what they care about. How about a new medication that truly helps. And last but least the Drug addicts & DEA is all they care about. ## While I did have a Psychiatrist provide Xanax for me during a Work related removal, I always use a GP for this medicine. You should first develop a Doctor /Patient relationship. The GP charges a $25 copay, the Psychologist charged $500 ## Correction, as we know a Physiologist is not a medical doctor and does not provide medicine with certain exceptions. Sorry, too much Xanax ## Correction as a PHD Psychologist is not what I seem to have have written in #2 ## Hello, John! ...

are hydromorphone pills safe to take after 5 years after the script ## They don't get dangerous, after the expiration date, however, they do lose effectiveness over time. This means that they probably don't have a lot of potency left and will likely not be very effective at treating pain. Have you consulted your doctor for a new prescription?

Iam 45 starting angeliq is it allowed for woman in this age. I have all the classic symptoms of menopause. ## Hi I'm 45 my dr just put me on angeliq to I think it's ok peri menopausal ## It is sometimes used in people of this age, though there are risks, according to the NIH, it increases the risk of certain types of cancers. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia, and spotting. I've been taking Fluoxetine to help with my symptoms, it has been shown to help in a low dosage and it does not cause the same risks as hormone replacement therapy. Has anyone else tried Fluoxetine/Prozac to help with perimenopause symptoms?

I was given 15 Mg MS CONTIN. About 4 hrs after taking it I feel extremely agitated. grrrrrr!!! I was prescribed this 2 days ago. I take it for hand and arm pain 1 pill every 12 hrs. Little bit of pain still not so bad but this irritated aggravated feeling is making me want to climb the walls. Does it ever go away? Please help in away way to even possibly give me some ideas that alleviated this agitation or how to deal. Thank you. ## Interestingly enough, "agitation" is listed as a general side effect of MS Contin (controlled-release morphine). Ref: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682133.html#side-effects Usually in cases like this, the side effects wont necessarily go away until you stop taking what's causing them in the first place. There's not really a supplemen...

Please let me know the rational for the use of aspirin and dipyridamole. I am intersested in MOA (mechanism of action for aggrenox) OF AGGRENOX. * * Edited by Site Admin 6/9/2005 11:23:12 AM PDT * * ## Is this the information you were looking for? Mechanism of Action The antithrombotic action of AGGRENOX (aspirin/extended-release dipyridamole) is the result of the additive antiplatelet effects of dipyridamole and aspirin. Dipyridamole Dipyridamole inhibits the uptake of adenosine into platelets, endothelial cells and erythrocytes in vitro and in vivo; the inhibition occurs in a dose-dependent manner at therapeutic concentrations (0.5-1.9 µg/mL). This inhibition results in an increase in local concentrations of adenosine which acts on the platelet A2-receptor thereby stimulating pla...

IS IT SAFE TO GO OFF THIS MEDICATION FOR 4 DAYS PRIOR TO AN OUTPATIENT SURGICAL PROCEDURE AS REQUESTED BY MY SURGEON ? (REMOVAL OF A SMALL FACIAL SKIN CANCER ). ## Have you also discussed it with your regular doctor? Since Aggrenox contains the active ingredients Aspirin and Dipyridamole, it can increase the risk of bleeding and surgical complications, so it is very common for surgeon to want someone to stop taking such medications, for a few days, before surgery.

I have been on aggrenox for about eight months. I have a lot of muscle and joint pain and suffer from chronic fatigue. (thigh/ hip/ pelvic) I am wondering if anyone else has experienced these symtoms? ## I have severe neck and back/sholder pain with the 50 mg pill and the dr.s act like i am stupid as if they have never heard of this. I do have fibromyalgia and thought that might have some to do with it. Can you get anyone to listen? ## I was put on aggrenox following a TIA and shortly afterward suffered a severe headache that radiated down my neck and across my shoulders. I stopped taking it and am now on plavix which is much better. However, even 2 days after last taking aggrenox, I still suffer from neck and shoulder pain, particularly when under even minor stress. ## My Dad starting ...

I took my first dose of Belsomra 10mg last night. I was awake all night. I had shaking and twitching all over. My legs were the worst, but I could also feel my stomach quivering! It was the most miserable and frightening experience. I'm glad I was given samples. ## Wow! I am very sorry about what happened to you, that's terrible. Belsomra side effects are listed as possibly including daytime sleepiness, sleep walking, dizziness, depression, and abnormal dreams. DailyMed does warn about some possible nausea, but given how miserable you were, and the fact that you didn't sleep, it doesn't seem that your response to it was typical. Are you on any other medications? ## Yeah, I'm one of those people that Dr's look at and say, "Oh my, what have I gotten myself into...
