Is ranitidine still safe to take after the expiration/discard date? Mine is 10/10/12. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Most medications, such as Ranitidine, don't get dangerous when expired, but they do begin to lose efficacy after that point. Thus, the older they are, the less they are going to work. Learn more Ranitidine details here. It would really be best to just dispose of the expired and purchase new. A friend has been taking Biprofenid 150 mg one a day for 3 days and now his urine is red. Is this normal? ## HI, Cathy! Has he consulted his doctor? He should do so immediately, that could be due to blood in the urine, which means there may be internal bleeding somewhere. Bi-Profenid contains the active ingredient Ketoprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and it can cause stomach ulceration and an increased risk of bleeding as possible side effects. Ihad my angioplasty done on 1st Aug 2011. I have been taking plavix 75mg for the past 2 weeks. This medicine is very costly 14 tablets costa around Rs1500/-around 30 dollars.I am from India. Can I replace this with Clopilet A 150 which also contains the same active ingrdinet clopidogrel anti coagulating agent pl advice I cant afford this medicine. ## Actually, Clopilet-A contains Clopidogrel and Aspirin, so I wouldn't advise switching to it, without your doctors approval. The regular Clopilet would be the equivalent medication that just contains Clopidogrel and, in that case, there should be no harm in switching, as long as you are taking the correct dosage. i forget taking ecospirin 150 after lunch. is it ok if i take it any other time ## Ecosprin just contains Aspirin and in many cases it is used as a blood thinner in these lower dosages. That said, there is no particular time of day that it has to be taken, so there really shouldn't be any problem if you switch it to another time that's easier for you to remember to take it. Learn more Ecosprin details here. If you're on the once a day dosing, then you should just make sure not to take them any closer than 24 hours apart. So, if you want to take one later in the day, then taking your next dose 30 hours away from the last one would be safer than taking them just six hours apart. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Can i take 20-30 tablets of ecospirin 150mg perday

This script looks different than what I have been given for years. What exactly is it saying? I had to get a new Doctor and i asked how to read this and he ignored my question. I'm afraid to fill it. ## What is it a prescription for? I am not sure what the sy might be, however, the 150 is the number of tablets in total, taken 5 times a day, so it would be a 30 day supply. There is no need to be afraid to get it filled, if there is something on it that your pharmacist can't understand, they will contact the doctor to ask.

My doctor diagnosed me with fatty liver. Ursocol 150 has been prescribed along with Recool 40. ## Since the last 2 to 3 yrs., after each meal I was feeling pain as well as something like a cyst on the right side of my abdomen. After an ultrasonography test, it was determined that due to a fatty liver this problem persisted. Accordingly, my Dr. has prescribed Recool-40 before lunch and dinner, as well as Ursocol-150 after meals. Kindly let me know the side effects and use of both tablets. Please let me know whether Apple cider vinegar is also useful for these problems? I am also suffering from high b.p., diabetes and my weight is 101 kg. ## Are there any side effects associated with the long-term use of Ursocol 150 mg (two times daily)?

I was receiving from Walgreens Bupropion 150mg SR which were green tablets imprinted M U12. Best medication I have ever been prescribed because it also acted as a stimulant therefore I no longer needed to sleep during the day. But after receiving the latest refiill I noticed I was again exhausted each day and needed to sleep. Walgreens said the purple tablet was exactly the same as the green tablet and it was FDA approved. What does FDA really mean? That the ingredients, the amount of each ingredient, and the quality of each ingredient is EXACTLY the same from one manufacturer to the next? Walgreens wouldn't return my money.
