I recently ran out of my blue watsons and got a cpl from a friend. They did NOTHING for me except dry my sinuses and left an awful taste in my mouth. Adventually i did get alittle nauseated but no itching or pain relief. I have gotten mine refilled since and tried to compare the two right dwn to getting a ruler out and tring to measure them. I cant difenively find a difference in them, so idk how to tell the difference from the fake or real ones until i were to take it. Not wanting to ingest the fake ones thou so im wondering if anyone else has found a flaw in size shape color or words looking different or different size numbers or words just anything what so ever that tells u besides takeing them that u have the fake ones. My daughter who was naturally a funny, happy adventurous person her whole life became severely depressed and had suicidal thoughts from the very beginning of her use of IMPLANON. Anxiety and panic attacks, non-stop bleeding, Even hallucinating towards the end. It was so bad, she was house bound the last few months of her life. She took her life during one of her severe bouts of severe depression. She had this implanted in her body for 2 years. Could not find a doctor to remove it, even planned parenthood to her sorry, not our problem. UNBELIEVABLE. What do these pharmaceutical companies think women are for? Do we not have any more worth then their test monkeys or guinea pigs that they can just stick something in our bodies without concern as to what it does to our mind not to mention on...

I was having acute cough problem for the last three weeks. The doctor suggested me Advent (BD), Thioasthaline (TID), Ambrolite syrup (TID) and prescribed complete haemogram, FBS and chest X-ray (PA) for further diagnosis. As per the doctor, the blood report was OK, except there were slight increase in eisnofil and ESR sedimentation rate and the X-ray report was also stated to be OK. However, the doctor added Defcort 24 mg to the above medication. I am having open angle glaucoma, I therefore want to know whether defcort should be avoided. ## I am having cough for last 5 weeks, have taken course of antibiotics and rotohaler 400 along with some cough expectorants, now my doctor have given me Defcort 30 and LCF syrup.... after 1st dose of Defcort this morning in less than 1 hrs, i feel extr...

Bacopa Monniera has several primary clinical uses- its a powerful free radical scavenger within the CNS and contributes to increased cognitive performance if taken consistently for 3months. It's second adventitious property is its ability to attenuate the development of tolerance to morphine and therefore increase effective chronic administration therapeutic benefit(s). How exactly this occurs is not entirely known, but it is important to note here that MORPHINE is not the same as other opiates that are not mu agonists and/or are not excreted by the body via conjugation phase I/phase II glucuronidation reactions. Whether BM (haha) works similarly with all variations of agonist/partial agonist/agonist-antagonist opiates is not known. Four other ethneogens associated w/attenuating or pre

What is Extendryl used for? What are the side effects? ## Hi Kim, Extendryl is an oral medication used along with other medications to treat peptic ulcers by reducing stomach acid secretion. With the advent of proton pump inhibitors and antihistamine medications it is rarely used for this anymore. It can also be used for stomach or intestinal spasms, to reduce salivation, and to treat motion sickness. Extendryl is also commonly used as a drying agent, to dry up post-nasal drip, in cold and allergy medications (Extendryl, AlleRx, Rescon). Please follow the link below for more information: If you have any other questions or concerns, please post back and i'll be happy to assist you.

I'm sixty five have been on Metoprolol tart 25 mg Myl twice a day ,every now and then I get light headed and feel unblanced. ## Welcome to our forums and you've come to the right place, because I had quite a few adventures with that medication myself! Metoprolol is a beta blocker that is used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. As to the occasional dizziness, yes, it can cause this as a side effect, which is more than likely due to orthostatic hypotension. Is it happening when you move suddenly? If so, then this is probably the cause, it has been known to cause this in some people. If it's putting you in danger of falling or anything, then you should contact your doctor, as you may need to switch to a different medication. Another factor that co...

How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. With the advent of ObamaCare, there are many plans available that people can now apply for and the cost varies according to your income, thus if you're low income or have no income, you may qualify for completely free coverage. You need to search for the insurance website in your state, or search on the federal site to see what is available. Another alternative is to contact the social work department of your nearest large hospital, they usually keep a list of resources just for people like you that don't have coverage, ...

sublingual? ## Are you asking about swallowing a sbulingual tablet? If so, it will still work, you'll still get the medication, however, it will be released much slower than if you had let it dissolve under the tongue as it was designed for. This can be dangerous for some medications, such as Nitroglycerin, which need to work fast in the advent of chest pain/heart failure. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## Will zubsolv show in a U/A if i swallow it?

Round pink or peach with no inscriptions and has a line on one side about the size of a valium. ## If there are no markings, it is most likely something that's available over the counter, since all manufactured prescription products in the U.S. are required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. The adventure now becomes trying to determine which one, since there are quite a few possibilities. Just as an example, I have a bottle of vitamin B12 supplements that meet this description, but I really can't say for sure that your pill is the same thing. Learn more B12 details here. What is your general location? That can sometimes help to narrow it down. ## Thank you. I was going crazy because sometimes I combine my supplements when almost empty and put with another p...

While traveling recently in Europe I contracted cold symptoms. In Basel, Switzerland I went to a pharmacy and they prescribed Sinupret forte Dragees. Almost immediately after taking the first few tablets I felt much better. After a few days I was back to being myself. The only thing I can attribute my quick recovery was to the Sinupret product. I am contemplating keeping it in our travel kit for our next travel adventure. Please, does anyone know if this medication is available by prescription-only or if you can find it over-the-counter? ## Hello, Rick! How are you? Sinupret Forte is actually an over the counter herbal remedy, which the FDA classifies as a supplement. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find a listing of the precise ingredients that are in it. Does anyone else know...

My wife has fibromyalgia and is in a significant amount of pain every day. She has been on a 100mg fentanyl patch for years. Then she chose to reduce it to a 50mg patch. She does not want to be on this patch any longer. She quit cold turkey. She is on day 4 without a patch and I just want everyone to know that my wife did it! My wife is going through hell right now but she is fighting and she is doing it! ## All opiates are an adventure, in my opinion, and quite often aren't worth the little bit of help with pain that they provide, but not everyone will agree with me. I'm glad your wife is doing well, but please keep an eye on her for another week, or so, as there is still a slight risk of her experiencing some dangerous withdrawal symptoms, such as severe rebound pain, and seiz...

Unethical failure to adequately treat pain continues after years of consideration of same as unethical. What can we DO? These are real people doing real suffering. I know how to get what I need but only because of medical/pharmacological sophistication coupled with a wonderful primary care MD.. MD's tell patients DEA won't allow it... Patients adhere to old myths (like the woman who couldn't get oxycodone but was AFRAID to use the morphine prescribed because of a long-discarded mythology as well as the advent of very effective SR morphine formulations which make it less dangerous than aspirin. ## Unfortunately, I don't think there will be any way to stop these problems, until such a time as people stop abusing such medications. Every doctor has to be on guard for such be...

Has anyone heard of side effects associated with a relatively new dementia/memory pill called Namzaric? My aunt has dementia and it seems to be getting worse rather than better on this new pill prescribed by her long-time doctor. Any info will help. Thanks. ## Namzaric contains Memantine and Donepezil, according to FDA listings, and they do warn that it has been known to cause confusion, nervousness, hallucination, depression, insomnia, and personality disorders. Sadly, many of these medications can cause they same problems they are supposed to help with, and they add some additional adventures in, as well. What type of symptoms is she currently experiencing? There is a chance that her dementia is getting worse, and it may not be due to the medication, but only a doctor can figure that ...

Hey I just moved from pa to ky and looking for a dr that will prescribe my oxycodone 30mg that I have been on for years.. I haven't had any luck finding a dr that will prescribe my meds. I have had several back surgeries and need another surgery but don't have insurance right now. Does anyone know of any doctor around here that will prescribe my meds? I have medical records and MRIs that prove I need surgery and in severe pain!! ## Hi, Sasha! Unfortunately, without insurance it is going to continue to be difficult to find a doctor willing to prescribe it and, if you do find one, you'll be on another adventure to find a pharmacy that will fill it. Paying cash is one way that people have used to doctor and pharmacy hop, in other words to scam and get multiple prescriptions for...

After I had my tubes tied I had problems with my periods. My doctor put me on lo loestrin and I took it with no problems for years. Almost 3 months ago at 48 years old, I decided to stop taking them. Since then, I have had very tender breasts, mild hot flashes and some cramping but no period. I realize these could be typical side effects from stopping those hormones but with no period for 3 months at 48, could this be perimenopause? ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Yes, it could be either, or, perhaps even both. Perimenopause can start as early as 35, according to the NIH. I started dealing with issues from it at 42, so the past few years have been rather adventurous. The hot flashes cause me to lean towards it being peri, but only your doctor could say for sure. If that is the case, other s...

I've been taking amlodipine 10 mg for over 2 years with no real issues and was recently switched to a smaller white tablet made by Cipla and I've been experiencing side effects like headaches, frequent urination and ED. I never had these with the previous manufacturer. Is is possible that the formulation is different enough to cause these issues? At the ER for an unrelated injury last night they gave me a different brand because I was due and my BP was up and some of the effects went away, so it led to me think about this..... ## Hello, Mike! How are you? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another and, since you've had the advent of new side effects, there's a chance that this new one actually has a little more Aml...
