I have had extensive testing through a Licensed Psychiatric Group of Doctors. This testing proved that I had been suffering with ADD all my life. This testing was done 15-20 yrs ago. Thankfully the past 5 years or more I have been taking the Medication: Adderall XR30 mg capsules (clear/orange capsules) I know this is a controlled substance and a "Triplicate" is necessary to fill the RX. *MY PROBLEM! The pharmacy "Caremark" would not send me the appropriate medication (Adderall XR30mg caps) as they have done for years. I have been without my medicaton for weeks now & I'm a mess! My granddaughter takes adderall and I went to give her one today and I noticed it looked strange. Upon closer inspection I realized the capsule was empty. I looked at the rest of them and I found 5 empty capsules. What the hell!! How did this happen? One I can overlook, but 5? What am I supposed to do? She will be without medicine for 5 days now. ## Does anyone else have access to the pills or pill bottle? The capsules could have been emptied and consumed in other ways like "sprinkled" (usually on applesauce), sublingually (dissolving the granules under the tongue) or crushed up and insufflated. Does anyone know the color of the beads that are instant release in the Shire 30 mg. I am trying to find this out because the long acting beads stay active to long preventing sleep and the Shire Brand is the only decent Adderall. I believe the two colors are white and a orange lookin beige. It would be pain staking to separate them but worth getting the 15 mg IR out of the 30. ## It would actually be much easier and safer to ask your doctor to prescribe the regular release formulation. I took adderall this morning at 6:40 (it's Monday) and I have a pre-employment drug test at Kroger with a saliva drug test on Friday at 6 PM. I have blue capsules that say adderall xr 30 mg on them but they have only white beads. Is this generic or brand? And how are these different from the orange 30 mg adderall xr with the white and orange beads? ## @Ricky, When you switch between different manufacturers, the only noticeable thing I'm aware of that actually changes are the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), so that could be one reason why the beads are different colors - different dyes? As to whether or not it's a generic or brand that you have, my research shows that the orange 30mg pill marked with "Adderall XR" is indeed a brand name and not generic.
