I'm a 21 year old female adult who has recently been diagnosed with ADHD. My brother, father, and boyfriend have it so I'm pretty familiar with the topic by now, though I am definitely still learning. My boyfriend and brother both take Adderall XR, which I have tried a couple times. I have found the drug to be very beneficial for me and am more informed on how that works. I would also just like to say, that no, I'm not an addict or just trying to abuse the drug. I do have an actual, verified issue that requires medication. The first prescription I received was Straterra, which really just made me exhausted, really dizzy, and depressed. It also did nothing for my poor attention. I have been on adderall 8 years. I'm 29 2 kids. My dosage is at 60 mg. 30mg ir 2 x daily I actually took 1.5 months off it and learned just how unmanageable my adhd / add is with out it. I tried starters and Wellbutrin during that time both which had neg side effects and just got back on adderall 10/30. Corpharma 30 pink tabs are what I got. I have been EXHAUSTED lethargic headaches sad .... Weird crap. I tried taking more just to see if it was weak (up to 200mg) - all it did was made all those symptoms ALOT worse. Is it the brand ? I couldn't find my Adderall at Walmart this month. They said they had been on back order. I went to Kroger and they had no trouble filling it which made me very suspicious. Why if everyone else is on back order, why did Kroger have no trouble filling it. Well I found out. These generics, round pink made me fill like jello. I am very concerned and confused about why generic Adderall brands are so all over the place!! I usually get Aurora brand and I'm fine with it but last month I got this corpharma brand crap, it made my stomach ache and gave me a headache! It was terrible. Back on Aurora brand and I feel better again but wtf is up with this BS?! I'm thinking about having my dr write no substitutions on my script and just pay for the name brand adderall. Sandoz is the best generic ir adderall I've used. August 11, 2017 I was told by the pharmacist they no longer produce this product. I asked if brand name was available and was told yes. When I received them I noticed they were made by Teva and let me tell you they are awful. I don't know what to do if I can't find a decent generic brand. ## Activis (spell check?) is pretty good. Hi there, I got adderall from a friend who says he has his own prescription, but I don't know if it is actually adderall. It is 5 mg and is a white tablet with a split indent down the middle. There is no imprint on it that says '5' or 'ad', absolutely nothing. It could be any pill. He says the generic forms of many pills don't have a marking on them. Is this true?? I always go to the same pharmacy to get my prescriptions filled, but this time, I was on my way to school so I stopped at a different pharmacy and got my adderall filled there. My usual pills are generic 10mg, as are these new ones. My normal pill bottle reads: Amphetamine Salts 10mg, gen for Adderall 10mg tablet. take one tablet twice a day. These are made by Caraco Pharmaceuticals, I believe (well that's what the bottle says, so I'm assuming that's what it means). They are a turquoise-ish color, and round. I have a package wrapped in the correct looking packaging. The name on the package is Clonazepam Tablets I.P. Repam-2 made in India, by JPee drugs. They are pencil sized round pills. Dark red. Has anyone tried these generic Modafinil and Armodafinil meds who can compare them to U.S. prescription brand name or generics? I know 2 of them are made by Sun pharma. I've had Sun pharma generic Adderall which was utter crap and another generic of theirs that seemed weak so no faith in them. The other is produced by HAB pharma which is another Indian company. Hey all, I take Dex IR for ADHD-C in the afternoons and it works great. I need to find an XR medication to take in the AM that works as well as my PM Dex booster. Pdoc and I have tried Adderall XR (made me fatigued, flat, and surly--I don't think my brain plays well on l-amphetamine) and Vyvanse (GI side effects and felt like a sugar pill--don't think I metabolize it correctly). I'm thinking ER Dextroamphetamine (the spansules) might be the next logical thing to try. Generics are tricky and I know there is no longer a brand name Dexedrine Spansule.
