i am trying to identify a small light blue pill with N008 on one side and a score in the middle of the other side. I was told that it is a 20mg Adderall. I have seen blue Adderall but they are 10mg. ## Hello, Stephanie! How are you? The round, blue tablet with the N008 marking actually contains 20mgs of Propranolol, which is a beta blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure, certain cardiac conditions and some migraines. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, hypotension and dry cough. Is there anything else I can help with? ## d amphetamine combo salts and name brands are SO effective at 20mg. Generic Adderall and brand names are "Orange book's" - 99.5% in efficacy. SHIRES Adderall is still superior. But the generic versi...

My fiancé took 4 30mg tablets adderall then took 4 more 30mg tablets of adderall less then 1hr later why did he not overdose or die? He will do this like once a week that I know of. Answers please... ## Hello, Raquel! How are you and your fiance? He may be tolerant to them, if he's been taking high doses for a long period of time. However. this is a stimulant that carries the risk of being habit forming and he is risking overdose, since it can cause elevated heart rate and blood pressure, which may lead to a heart attack or stroke. Thus, he should really get help with this problem. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello. I am a 34 yo female with diagnosis of fibromyalgia and hypersomnia. My rheumatologist is sending me to a pulmonologist (sleep specialist) because I am ALWAYS sleepy. The fatigue has ruined my life and causing problems in my marriage. I'm not sure ? narcolepsy. Hoping my doc will give me Adderall for it...I've heard that's a treatment. if not, do you guys know of a really good Adderall alternative (OTC)? I'm desperate. ## Hello, Blondie! How are you doing? I have been taking adderall for ADD for a few years now and all the appetite suppressant effects associated with adderall are no longer there for me. Since phentamine is in the same class with Adderall, would it be pointless to take phentamine as an appetite suppressant or will phentamine still be able to help me with a decreased desire to eat?. ## Hello, PinkSlay! How are you? Actually, it really wouldn't be safe to take both. They both can cause accelerated heart rate and elevated blood pressure, so combining them may be dangerous. Have you consulted your doctor? ## I took both for a few years until my doctor wised up and thought better of having me on two stimulants at once. Then the phentermine went out the door. The appetite curbing aspect of Adderall wears off after a period o...

I took a 10 mg methadone 7 hrs ago. I have 20 mg Adderall, and 1 mg xanax. I have a lot to get done and I want to take a quarter of the adderall and half a xanax. I don't want to act weird or feel sick. Ive taken the adderall before but didn't have anything with it and took half and it had me stuck on the couch forever and I couldn't eat. One time I took half of the blue xanax and half the adderall and could function find. I need help. ## The FDA does warn that mixing them together could cause increased side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, accelerated heart rate, elevated blood pressure, and nervousness. Has your doctor prescribed this combination? It is best to be extremely cautious, due to the fact that you are mixing depressants, with a stimulant, which has been known...

Take adderall 30 in am 15 in pm have had a severe head sweating problem last few months wonder if anyone else has had this problem? ## Have you looked into having an exam and any testing done to see why this is happening? There is a chance that it's just a side effect of the medication, but there is also a possibility that it could be due to something more serious, such as it causing an elevation or your heart rate and blood pressure, which could be dangerous, so this really does need to be checked out. I have had MS for 13 years. I'm 51 years old. I've been through menopause. I need something to give me energy. ## Hello, Edie! How are you? I am very sorry about your health issues. This website does not manufacture nor prescribe any medications. It is an information only resource. Additionally, such medications aren't generally used just to give someone energy, because they run the risk of being habit forming and may cause some possibly dangerous side effects, if used improperly, such as heart attack, stroke, anorexia and elevated blood pressure. What medications do you currently take? What have you tried to boost your energy levels? Do you eat healthy and get lots of exercise?

Does taking 15mg adderall twice a day equal out to 30 IR the whole day or is it 15 mg due to spreading out during the day? ## It equals 30mg total for that 24 hour period. Kind of confused by your question. Whatever you have taken (total) over a 24 hour period is how much you've taken "a day". If your doctor prescribes 15mg twice a day then those doses should be separated by 4-6 hours. ## Hello A, So this might get a little confusing but I'll do my best to keep it as simple as possible. Drugs have something called a half life cycle which is the duration that it takes your body to metabolize half of the active ingredients in your blood stream. It is generally accepted that it takes 4-6 half cycles to completely remove all of the active ingredients. With this in mind we ca...

I appreciate your time, does anyone know where I'd be able to find a list of fillers used in Adderall xr 20mg? A few years ago I was diagnosed with a blood allergy to corn and wheat and a few months ago I started having reactions every day about the same time as my medication was releasing. I have checked everywhere to find a list and have found nothing. I know it can vary, but if there is something I can at least reference because it just started recently. Thanks so much! ## Yes, it may vary if you are taking a generic or a name brand. However, in the name brand Adderall XR, the inactive ingredients are: gelatin capsules, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, methacrylic acid copolymer, opadry beige, sugar spheres, talc, and triethyl citrate. I don't see anything in this list that scr...

I had ADD, no focus, all-day compulsive overeating, & night heartburn. Now, on 20mg Adderall upon waking, wait 1 hr to eat, then 20mg at 1pm (watch alarm) to get thru day. No other mental/emotional issues, stable life. It wakes up certain part of the brain, foggy/blank before. Used coffee but acid and tolerance buildup were problems. My pulse 60-66, & blood pressure 105/60 ideal, didn't worry about heart problems. Initially my heart raced and leg nerve agitation at night, but current side effects: Vision prescription (nearsighted) worse .25 ea eye, tried Oasis contacts for dryness, but silicon irritated eyes so back to Acuvue 2, wear only 12 hrs. My granddaughter been on this medicine for 4 months. She have loss almost all her hair, it is less than 1in. How can I help her I am not going to give her this medicine anymore. ## Hello, Madeline! How is that little lady doing? Yes, that can be a rare side effect of Adderall, because it can affect the blood flow to the scalp. She will most likely need to switch to a different medication. Has her pediatrician been consulted about this? Once a switch is made, her hair should grow back.

I have taken 20mg of adderall and would now like to take a 37mg phentermine. Is this ok? ## It generally isn't advisable, due to the fact that they are both stimulants, so combining them can result in elevated blood pressure and heart rate, which may put you at risk of a heart attach or stroke. ## 20 mg of adderall should give you intense effects if you are not a daily prescription user. If you are trying to increase the stimulant effect I would suggest against the phentermine and trying taking tums or some form of bicarbonate 30-60 mins prior to adderall to increase absorption. Also, a diet high in acidity (especially soda) will greatly decrease absorption of the drug. Try eating more alkaline foods (carrots, beets, bread). This will allow you to intake a much higher percentage of ...

I was taking 5 20mg generic Adderall for almost 10 yrs and then my Dr. retired. Do I have to go to a Psychiatrist for it? I have tried a couple of them, the same answer, no. I'm not asking for 5 a day, even 3 would be nice. I do not have heart trouble, never have had high blood pressure, etc. I took it for ADD and depression. This is in the Rockford, IL area. ## Ha I live about 10 miles away from Rockford illinois, or crackford. You have to have your primary care physician refer you to a psychiatrist . So you will have another dr saying it’s ok to prescribe you. Due to your lack of focus and motivation:... try it ## Usually if they can see you used to have it prescribed they’re more likely to do it. I think these days only psychiatrists will do it. ## My primary care doc...

I was taking Barr Dextroamphetamine Sulfate for 12 years. This medication was a miracle drug for me as it lowered my blood pressure, increased my focus, attention, and breathing. About three years ago, my medication "disappeared" without warning or notice. No one would tell me the truth until I found my drug at a pharmacy two hours away. After receiving the medication twice, the pharmacist said he could no longer get it for me because my $50 generic shot up to $500 overnight. I have been forced to try other generics, but none compared to Barr. Teva bought Barr, and I was able to get it periodically... except when the government planned a "shortage" three months ago. I received my medication, however, the whole 180 pills were ineffective. Before that, the other "Adder...

I had been taken hydrocodone 5/500for a year and my doctor tells me that I test Neg. for it. In both blood and urine, why? ## Some people do, it really depends on your metabolism and how fast you process out the medication. Your activity levels and fluid intake can also have an effect, so it may process out faster than it should. Has your doctor given you any ideas about it? ## My husband takes Xanax 1 mg 3 times a day, Adderall 10 mg twice a day, and hydrocodone 7.5, 325. They did urine lab work and the results said that he takes none of these (but he does). He is also battling cancer. ## THE MEDS ARE NO GOOD. THEY ARE USING THE CHEAPEST MADE. ITS NOT SHOWING UP IN MOST I KNOW.

i take wellbutrin, paxil. kolatapin, and adderall could they thin your blood ## dose wellbutin thin your blood ?? ## No, that is not a normal side effect of these medications. The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and weight changes. Are you having an issue with blood thinning? Are these the only medication you are currently taking? What are your diagnosed medical conditions? There is really no way to say how any medication will affect anyone that tries it, so it can't be 100% ruled out, but it is unlikely that the listed ones would cause any dangerous blood thinning.

Can Ziac and Adderall be taken together? Both of the labels warn against taking with one another but neither my doctor or pharmicist said anything?! ## Sometimes, your doctor and pharmacist have to weigh the benefits against the risks of using certain medications, together. The main reason they advise against using these together is because Adderall can actually raise your blood pressure. this site is not medical professionals, however, your doctor may not be concerned about your using them together if your blood pressure is not severely high or is under control. Have you tried asking them about your concerns?
