I have recently started taking adderall 10mg IR. I was wondering how long the side affects last? I think it may make my anxiety a little worse, but it's like a belly ache anxiety not like my regular paranoid anxiety. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or input. My doctor started me on the IR to see how my body reacts to it and then said we could try the XR if I didn't want to eventually have to take multiple doses. ## The side effects may last about 4 to 5 weeks, until your body gets used to the medication, according to FDA reports. I recently got the pink round 30 mg tablets and I find they make me tense up a lot more... sore muscles, shaky, hard to get motivated because I'm so distracted from the negative side effects... One of the worst generics I had at Kroger’s was Zydus. Switched to Walgreens and they have Teva. Kroger is cheap for everything else though. Xanax bars for 120 are like 12 bucks. Effexor is like 5 bucks. Cialis for 90 is only like 25 and it’s over 100 at Walgreens. So I get everything but my Adderall at kroger.

Hi, I have a question to ask hoping someone here can answer it for me. I currently am prescribed Adderall 10 mg twice daily and it makes me feel terrible physically and also causing vision problems. I plan to report these side effects to my prescribing physician as soon as I can and I'm going to ask to switch my meds to Vyvanse. I would like to see if it is better for me as opposed to Adderall. Does brand name 10mg Adderall have a new design? Picked up my Rx yesterday and pill is blue. One side is scored and says 10. The other side, rather than saying AD, has a symbol which looks sort of like a figure 8, or perhaps a letter S with a line through it. Pharmacy says these are brand name Adderall. I was diagnosed with ADD now at the age of 44. Ive been taking Adderall 10mg in the morning and 10mg after 1pm, but I don't see a change in the focusing. I have the side effects nothing else. Son Takes 10 instant release mg in a.m. then crashes and very unhappy at two pm. Give him another five and works well till bedtime or sometimes up all night. Also script say amphetamine salts instead of Adderall M.D. ordered. ## Have you talked to his doctor about the problem? He may need a dosage adjustment, or a switch to the regular or time release formulation of the medication. And Amphetamine salts are the active ingredients in Adderall, so that is just the generic for it. It may cause some other side effects, such as nausea, irritability, anorexia and insomnia.

I started adderall. Doctor told me to start with 10mg in morning and 5mg 4 hours later. I did this for a few days and felt absolutely nothing. I was the told to up my morning to 20mg. The worst. Don't get it filled ## 100% agreed!!!! I have been on Adderall generic IR since January 2014. Always filled @ CVS. All previous scripts were manufactured by TEVA. (Large football shaped, orange, sweet tasting & 30mg.) They worked great!!!! Until this past Wednesday (Aug 19th, 2014) I went to pick up my script as usual and didn't think anything of it until the next morning when I had to take one. It wasn't the same shape or taste. (This one was round, orange and a chalky bitter taste.) So I took my usual dosage and Bam Nothing happened, I was like WTF!!!! I've been taking 20 Mg TID of IR generic Adderall > 10 Yrs. Although some "experts" claim they are very, very habit forming, I MUST disagree. Even after +10 Yrs, I have little problem discontinuing the drug at any point. The same goes for benzodiazepines. Possibly it's because I personally adhere or ingest < is directed or skip for weeks on end. This "abuse potential" may be inherent in some. Personally, I believe it is overstating this possibility to "play it safe". The statement, "Drug abusers typically have the tendency to increase the dosage on their own initiative".
