Adderal Side Effects

I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and took mostly Ritalin. I stopped somewhere around 4th or 5th grade. By the time college rolled around, I knew that my concentration issues were likely due to ADHD, so I got retested at a psychology facility (it was something like 6-7 hours of various tests) and was formally diagnosed with ADHD again at the age of 19. That was 7 years ago. I took amphetamine salts (short-acting) generic for several years with no side effects that I noticed. I stopped for almost two years during pregnancy and breastfeeding because I really didn't want to be taking a stimulant that could potentially affect my unborn child or get into my breast milk. Taking Amphetamine Salts- For 10 yrs, 20mg, 60 mg daily. Also Wellbutrin 300mg. Picked up prescription. They were different pills. Smaller round, light orange, with U30 on them, although they are 20mg. On 2nd day I start getting-it feels like an electric shock at right temple that lasts for about 2-3 second, every couple hours I'm healthy and pills never bothered me. I am experiencing hair loss. If you dont take your meds at the same time everyday and/or forget a day, your more likely to space out. I've been on adderal 10 mg for about 2 years now. I usually take 1 daily and about 6 months ago I started occasionally taking 2 daily. It's never given many any side effects. But the last 3 days, when I take it I notice a heart flutter I can feel almost in my throat and a faint feeling about 2 hours after. This feeling has followed caffeine intake but I always drink caffeine when I take my adderal. Is this something I need to worry about? It's been scaring me. I got Sandoz for the first time. Taken many other generics over the years. I have been awake for 48 hours. Can not sleep just lay in bed. I'm on 10mg four times daily. Last one taken 9 hours before. Hi, thank you for reading. I am planning on talking to my doctor, but I don't see him for a few weeks. In the mean time i'm hoping to get experienced input from you guys. I am prescribed generic Adderall 20mgs (up to 4 times daily). Generic brand Teva. I have only been taking lunesta(1mg) for 2 nights now, but both mornings I have woken up with my forearm completely numb. The second morning was much worse than the first, so much that it scared me. My son takes 20 mg of Adderall XR in the morning. I'm prescribed 25mg xR Adderall, and have been for about a year, year and a half. I absolutely love the stuff, nothing has ever worked for me the way this med does! I've been on anti-anxiety and anti-depressants, I've tried Wellbutrin and Ritalin. Nothing ever worked. Breast development in males isn't a side effect of Dextroamphetamine. As a matter of fact, in some girls it can cause a delay in development. ## @Pauline, While gynaecomastia isn't listed as a side effect, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's not possible among a smaller percentage of users taking Dextro-amphetamine. Other "poisons" such as Accutane are famous for causing unlisted side effects. My son switched from Concerta to the generic version Adderall (b973 orange pill) several months ago. Recently he has been experiencing the following problems - sleeplessness, extreme restlessness, loss of appetite, headaches, upset stomach and even had a bout with vomiting one day. My 5yr old was started on dextroamp amphet 5 mg 4days ago. I recently got the pink round 30 mg tablets and I find they make me tense up a lot more... sore muscles, shaky, hard to get motivated because I'm so distracted from the negative side effects... I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness.
