So... my Dr. wrote my prescription for Adderall but it had a later date on it than I needed so I went back to get the right one. Meaning I have two prescriptions for Adderall and was thinking of getting the second one filled at a smaller pharmacy, no using insurance. I know you shouldn't do this so I don't need the lecture, I'm just wondering if they will be able to search and tell I already got this Rx filled a week ago. I don't incredibly abuse it. Instead of taking one 30mg tablet per day, I take closer to 3. I do not want to ask him to up my meds. My questions include - will the Dr. get a copy of the Rx from the pharmacy? There is a walk-in medical clinic in Bellevue, have you tried seeking assistance there? Is there some reason you're out, before your appointment? I normally get 90 thirty milligram Adderall every month, but when I picked up my filled perception, they only gave me 60. Was the doctor or the pharmacy at fault, and can it be corrected? ## Have you tried asking the doctor, or pharmacy? If it was an error, it should be able to be corrected, but no one can say for sure, if they haven't read your prescription. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and anorexia. Did your doctor mention making any changes?

I'm going on vacation to Fort Myers, Florida and need to fill my prescription for Adderall. Where can I get it filled? ## Can I fill my prescription of adderall in another state? I was taking 2 Adderall XR 30 mg. (60 mg total) very morning for years. I called for a refill a few months back and when I picked up the script, it was for Adderall IR. I questioned why the XR wasn't prescribed and the know it all NP told me that Adderall XR was NEVER given in that dosage and I was the first to request it. She said it was illegal to prescribe 2 Adderall XR to be taken in one day. She said that by taking two XR's that I was continually getting the medicine in my system 24 hours. Question about secret medication limits: So what was happening years ago is that I’d have my Xanax and Adderall (along with my Subutex) sent to one pharmacy. Then inevitably, at the 5 month mark, that pharmacy would “somehow” not be able to order me Greenstone 2mg Alprazolam anymore. Does anyone know if this is because of the opioid limitation policy? I am a 100% disabled veteran and have been on pain management for about 13 years. (80MG METHADONE daily... yes for pain, 6mg HYDROMORPHONE daily for break-through pain, 1.5 mg day CLONAZAPAM as sleep aid/anxiety and 1200 mg day GABAPENTIN for servered nerves,. I was taking 5 20mg generic Adderall for almost 10 yrs and then my Dr. retired. Do I have to go to a Psychiatrist for it? I have tried a couple of them, the same answer, no. I'm not asking for 5 a day, even 3 would be nice. I do not have heart trouble, never have had high blood pressure, etc. I took it for ADD and depression. Unless it is a vacation override, dose increase or different stimulant or form. I can get 90 day supplies here too. My klonopin has been 6 days early before and they never cared.

I am in Los Angeles on business and ran out of my Adderall XR 20mg. My doctor in DC sent me a script but no one will fill it due to a new CA law. I have an appt. with a new doctor on Thursday (just moved) and am going to see if we can increase my dose from 30mg ir to 30mg xr and 10mg ir for the afternoon. My previous doctor, who is now out of state, wrote me two scripts with "do not fill until" dates so I would have time to find a doctor. I just filled the last one this past week. Obviously, I will tell my new doctor this and have my records faxed to his office. If he does increase my dose/change the type, will he write me a new script for the xr's to be filled? My body doesn't take well to these instant releases anymore-literally crash everyday by noon & feel lethargic the rest of the day with all focus out the window. P.S. Several years ago, my doctor put me on adderall, and I loved it. I was able to get everything completed, with energy to spare. I lost weight, and life felt amazing. After FIVE years of taking it everyday, he took me off of it. I'd never been diagnosed with ADHD but because of the symptoms I'd been having, (I was trying to finish a novel, and I couldn't, I was scattered, disorganized, and my life was out of control. Since this is a controlled substance, it's going to be very hard to find a pharmacy that will fill an out of state prescription. A few months ago my doctor gave me three months worth of post dated prescriptions for adderall ir 15mg 2x a day. This month I had a doctor appt and got prescribed adderall xr 30mg a day. I still have a prescription for the ir that I haven't turned in yet for this month. It's dated five days after the day that I turned in the new 30mg prescription. My question is can I still turn in the 15 mg prescription that was dated for this month or will I get flagged because of two prescriptions in one month...even though they are different strengths? Will my doc know? Thank you!

I live in manhattan and take the brand adderall not the generic. The brand made by Teva doesn't work for me. It's like taking the generic. I live on the UWS of manhattan where children abound and I feel that they don't offer anything but the Teva orange with the dp imprint. I'm from Texas and I'm wondering if any of you guys have been notified by your PCP about the new triplicate policy? My PCP's office notified me that I have to go in each month for me to get my prescription instead of every 4th refill and I also have to pay whatever amount I pay for co-pay+tripcate and on top of that I'm required to do monthly EKGs. Has anyone heard of such new policy for 2016? I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness. The preferred current disposal method is to mix them with some undesirable substance, such as used coffee grounds or dirty kitty litter, place the mess into a sealed container, such as a coffee can and then dispose of it with your regular garbage.
