If you start them the first or second day of your period, you'll be protected immediately. If you start them at any point later in your cycle, then it will take a full days. That means no unprotect intercourse, until the 8th day. Is there anything else I can help with?

Good day my husband has had a heart bypass and uses adcodols two a day, alzam for anxiety one a day and zandos to sleep at night. I am worried these are bad for his heart. Sometimes he uses them altogether as a cocktail. ## Is his doctor aware that he is taking all of these and even mixing them at the same time? I'm using Adco-FEM 30 and I haven't started my periods I'm in red row now I'm late with 4 days now. Should I be worried????? ## Not all women experience their periods, while taking hormonal contraceptives and it can be normal of them to be irregular for the first 3 months or so, as your body gets used to the hormones. What is the negative side effect of 5.25mg of Adco Alzam is taken. Is this considered an overdose? And is there a long term side affect to it. What do you do if I suspect my friend took an overdose? ## This contains the active ingredient Alprazolam, which is a Benzodiazepine, it is in effect a depressant/sedative, so yes, someone does have to be careful how much they take. Usually it is only given in a maximum of 3mgs a day, in a time released tablet. However, whether or not 5.25mgs is too much depends on the person taking it and their tolerance to it, some people can handle much larger doses. i was using a contraceptive injection of 3 months for and i stopped it between the months and its been 2 years now and i have not been on my periods, i even forget when is my cycle. since i started taking this medication i find it very difficult to pass urine...is this normal?? ## Looks like this medication isn't manufactured in the US, but I was able to find the active ingredient to be Bisoprolol. Side effects for this drug are listed below (I believe one or more of these side effects can indirectly make it difficult to urinate): Overdose of Bisoprolol leads to fatigue, hypotension, low blood sugar, bronchospasms and bradycardia. Bronchospasms and low blood sugar because at high doses drug can be an antagonist for 2 adrenergic receptors located in lung and in liver. It's been 3 days nights since I've left it and I am suffering, I haven't slept! I am battling to sleep, what do you suggest I do? If you suddenly stop taking it, it is normal to experience some withdrawal and rebound effects, such as the insomnia that you are experiencing.
