Hi my son (28) has been prescribed the following: Adco-Alzam 0.5, half a tabled morning and afternoon and a whole one in the evening PLUS Cilift 20mg 1 tablet per day PLUS Ativan 1mg under the tonque when necessary PLUS Dormicum 15mg 1 at night (only for one night) are all these tablets ok to use at the same time?? ## There can be some risks associated with any medications that you take, especially if you take them all at the same time, or close together. Hi I've been on Adco Alzym for more than a year now and needless to say, I have increased my dosage to 4, I have however recently deicded to stop as my body was no dependant on it. It's been 3 days nights since I've left it and I am suffering, I haven't slept! I am battling to sleep, what do you suggest I do? I have just come from the doctor now and she prescribed Alzam 0.25 mg and says I must take half a tablet when needed. I went to her to discuss full blown menopause which is what I have. The symptoms are very extreme with me having severe headaches and feeling very emotional at times. Some times I feel a little down in the dumps and I would cry. These are all symptoms of menopause including insomnia, irritability, mood swings, hot flushes and night sweats amongst other things. I am so skeptical about filling out this script, especially after reading how habit forming the drug is. Also the withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking it. Is Alzam stronger than adco zolpidem? What does it do to me to prevent my outbursts of rage and be able to reason with things I know I could never fathom considering? ## Alzam is a benzodiazepine, so it is stronger and much more calming. I am using Venlor 150mg once a day and Adco-Alzam 3 x per day for angxiety. The doctor doctor told me not to use it on a long term, but I have used it for three years now. Ihave asked him to give me something saver than the Alzam which I can use on a long term but he is stil finding out for the right medication.
