I am a severely hurt 59 year old male. Upon receiving Percocet from the pain dr. I was looking for some relief. Only to be made to have severe hearburn all the time. Also this medicine does not work. I t feels like nothing at all. ## Hello, Robert! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're experiencing. Heartburn, nausea, and indigestion can be typical side effects of this and most other medications, according to FDA reports. It is usually better to make sure that you don't take them on an empty stomach and you may need to use an antacid with it, if your doctor approves. How long have you been taking it and what dosage are you taking? ## I take Prilosec daily. But wish the fda would outlaw Tylenol no matter how much money Johnson-Johnson contributes to the fda ri...

Was taking BRAND percocet - the only true percocet (pinkish oblong pill that says "percocet") but it was horribly expensive: over $1,000 for 90 pills (one month). My insurance was paying at first but then when I switched insurers, no more, they only pay for generic. After that, I went thru the gamut of generics until now - it seems that Activis has taken over the supplies of percocet at every major pharmacy - Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, etc and that is ALL we can get. For me Activis is a nightmare. I suffer from post-laminectomy syndrome and Activis lasts barely an hour before I need another for break-thru pain. Also, side effects are head ache, insomnia, and occasional upset stomach. The pain reliever active ingredient in Activis is clearly substandard, but what are we to do - who do

1st off the pharmacy I have been using, I was just fine with the hydrocodone 7.5, UNTIL they changed manufacturer. To millenkfrodt (dout I spelled that exact, but you probably know what I mean. ? So found pharmacy that uses activis (I figured worth seeing if better) as the millindkroft did absolutely nothing for me. So does anyone know, now I just read that and activis IS the same thing? Also, when I originally looked up about the 1st one , came back that it was from a manufacturer in India. Which, pharmacist just told me that's illegal. Has to come from U.S. If true.. do you file complaint f.c.c ? Nark on the pharmacy? ## Hello, Lena! How are you? No, they are not the same thing, Actavis and Mallinckrodt are 2 different pharmaceutical manufacturers. And no, it is not illegal for a ...

My mom was taking a generic oxycodone for months it was not Activist. I pick up her scripts and know Activis is toxic from my own experience. The label read Mallinkot it looked different as the strength. Was increased. She said it did not help her pain despite the higher dose. She began to complain of itching too. After several days she was really sick with a swollen face BAD. Called MD several times. I told her to stop the pain med as this was the only thing new. MD prescribed Benadryl and new script for pain. In the meantime looking at her old pill bottle the pills did not match the label description. Looked them up and they were Activist A332. Went to CVSThey only weakly apologized for the error. Since then now my mom is in the hospital with the Actions reaction!!! Super expensive lo...

I have been on these drugs for 8 years. I recieved some a333 pillsand took my usual dosa and was considering a 911 call. I was shaking, my heart was racing. I took 2 anxiety pills, they helped. there is something very different about these pills and I am really worried. john m. ## Hello, John! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem that you've had. Many people have complained about these tablets from Actavis, it seems they are prone to causing odd side effects, or not working. They are said to contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic for Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, I can't speak t...

My friend had been taking activis and had done good with it. Is the mylan brand just as As good?... ## It really depends on the person. Some people do well with it and some don't. The only way to find out is by trying it and seeing how it works for you. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, since the differences are so slight, most people don't experience any problems, but some people may, especially if they are sensitive to mediations. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Could anybody please be so kind as to tell me how full this capsule should be? ## Hi Chet, Unfortunately there's no way of knowing, unless of course you have x-ray vision to see through the solid blue capsule. But if you have any reason to believe that someone may have tampered with your pills, I'd probably encourage you to take it into a local pharmacy and have them compare it with one of their own for quality assurance. Better safe than sorry depending on your reasoning behind this type of question. Do some of your capsules weigh more or less than others?

It is obvious from the comments on this and other sites, TEVA dropped the ball when they discontinued manufacturing Clonazepam. Many of us are suffering and struggling to get back on track due to the cheap replacements made by Accord. The pharmacies are distributing junk Clonazepan. The pills fall apart; they are not the same consistency & they're loaded with fillers that cause allergies and reactions. It is disgraceful that drug companies have stooped this low for the mighty dollar. They are killing people by changing the ingredients. TEVA...WHY would you stop making the real thing?

I was taking 150 ml of Bupropion SR by Teva for several years and it has stopped working for my depression. Has anyone been happy with the other generic forms of Wellbutrin? I am now trying one from Activis but just started it yesterday. ## Your body will get used to the dosage of any medication that you take for a long period of time and it will eventually become less effective. Thus, it's really doubtful that switching manufacturers will help. It's most likely that you need a slight higher dosage to get the same benefits as you did before from this medication. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? You can read more Wellbutrin details here. ## Please let me know how the Actavis generic is working for you. I have been taking the Watson generic for 2 years and liked it. Just n...

Actavis Elizabeth lists this tablet as being white, capsule shaped and having the marking A333 on one side. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. for the last two months 2 different pharmacies gave me some new all orange capsule, supposedly a new generic adderall xr 30 mg. these make me fall asleep and i do not feel the same as the amphetamine salt combo i have been on for three years now. anyone else having the same experience? ## Hi Shaun, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences and side effects you are feeling have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention this to their patients, after giving them a completely different script without prior ...

I found that the activis a333 has a laundry detergent taste,(the powdered kind),,and it crumbles very easy in my hand and in my mouth...regular Percocets or generic or vicoden are crunchy and are hard to snap if you bite them...I could understand them being soft, even though I never had a soft pill like that, but my question is why does it taste like laundry detergent ## How do you know what detergent tastes like?? Wtf did u eat laundry detergent hahaah ## Hello Maddixx, Different brands use different inactive ingredients, the ingredients that are there for purposes not directly related to the intended purpose of the pill. These ingredients affect the time release of the pills, it sounds like the percocets/vicodin/generics you have previously taken all have a hard shell which typically ...

Couldn't take Activis adderall, different from others, terrible. ## Hello, Marguerite! How are you? I'm sorry that you had a problem with it. What types of symptoms did you experience, or did it just not work for you? The FDA classifies this medication as a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia, weight loss and anorexia. ## For the better part of 21 years, I have been on ADD meds, with about 16-17 years of that being on adderall. My dose was 60 mg a day for the last 7 or so years. Got off of it for a few years while not in school, and with the particular job I had, I felt I could manage my ADD without meds. However I am once again taking classes, and have...

I was taking activis 30mg IR for a long time. It worked really well on pain with minimal narcotic effect. Now they only have KVK brand oxycodone. This is by far the worst medication for pain I have ever had. It has a strong long lasting narcotic effect with no pain relief at all. I'm taking it back to my Dr and getting a new perscription. Does anyone know who carries Activis and/or a brand that is comparable? ## Hi Rong, I find it interesting that the KVK tech is working better for you than the Actavis brand, because many people on here are actually taking the time out to file complaints with the FDA about the lack of efficacy coming from Actavis's other pain medications - (namely Percocet). However, when it comes to finding out what's in stock, a lot of pharmacies aren'...

FYI: The drug manufacturer Watson bought out Activist. Watson "made a business decision" to no longer produce the Watson generic brand of Wellbutrin and only produce the Activist version. Watson was the brand that worked for me (I've tried many) so it's unfortunate they have made this business decision. I've called the company to request they continue to manufacture the Watson version. Anyone going through the same situation may want to call Watson 1-800-272-5525. *** if anyone takes a generic that doesn't work they should notify the F.D.A. 1-855-543-3784. ## Thank you for sharing this info Trace. I used to take Watson percocet 10/325, until it was bought over by Activis. I have since been on Malinkridot (sp); which is not as effective, but ok. I cannot find any information on that brand, or why the change. i assume it is because of cost, but any information would be much appreciated.
