I need to know what the side affects are. My household girl got this at the clinic for high blood pressure and now after a weeks use her lip is swollen badly. ## Hello, Mary Anne! How are you? However, I can tell you that as listed by the NIH, such swelling is usually due to an allergic reaction, which could continue to get worse, she may experience more swelling and start to have problems breathing. i,ve being using acti-prex nd a started coughing non stop so is my sister, ## Based on my research, Actiprex is a medication from South Africa, containing the active ingredient Perindopril. This is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and other heart conditions. I hope you and your sister are feeling better now; but I do have to question why you would even start taking a random medication if you have no idea what it's supposed to be used for? I was using Pharma press for +- 10 years and then Pharma co for 6 months. I started to get muscle weakness around my knees then the one arm now the other arm. Constant pain in my kidneys and bladder.
