ive been on watson oxy/apap 10/325 for years, and they have always worked wonderfully. last month it was changed to actavis and it feels as if i'm taking HALF THE DOSE! it's HORRIBLE, and not only does it NOT work, it looks just like a tylenol or a norco; white and oblong. my sweet walgreens pharmacist called EVERY pharmacy in my town asking if they carry any watson brand percocet and they have ALL HAVE BEEN REPLACED by this crap brand. i've tried endocet, which is even worse... so now i'm on the hunt to search the town over for any remaining watson. my straight oxy has been changed to KVK brand, and it's nothing like watson, but it isn't completely worthless. i'm so glad i came on here because i really thought it was just me. i thought 'how could i possi...

Both my mom and I are chronic pain suffers. I have had 3 back surgeries and she has had 1 and has osteoarthritis. Actavis percocet are really bad. No good for pain even at 10/325. She was taking Lortab 10/500 and since the switch she has had hives, nausea, ringing in the ears. We believe it is the pain pills causing the problem. Anyone else having these type problems? ## Hello Reba! How are you both doing? I am very sorry about the problems that you're having. Rather than taking Percocet, the doctor could still prescribe something with Hydrocodone in it, if that's what works better, it is still available, just with the lower amounts of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, d...

I take the Rhodes 10/325 percocet and they are better than actavis oh that don't help at all. Rhodes and Amneal I agree are weak compared to the old Watson's and Mallinckrodt, and Endocet, even Roxicet. What happened to those that did wonders I don't know. ## Hi Stevo, I think when it comes down to drug efficacy, we not only have to look at the active ingredients/dosages, but just as importantly, the binders and fillers which often change from manufacturer to manufacturer. So what happened to those drugs that did wonders? - Well, from my perspective drug companies probably did add various inert ingredients that somehow affect bioavailability or how well our body absorbs the "active" ingredients that are composed within all the fillers. It's hard to say if there i...

I have been taking Oxycontin and for BTP Watson 10/325 generic Percocet for a number of years; they have always given me some pain relief. The Actavis Percocet 10/325 do not give me any pain relief. Life is hard enough with the stigma I get from pharmacists’, some friends, people in the pharmacies. All the time I wish my pain would go away because it’s very hard to take these pain pills, adding the stigma wow!! I have no other option. Surgeons will not operate they say the odds of making my whole back worse is to high, therapy done it many times doesn’t work. It’s been over 10 years I’ve suffered with what feels like half of a back and life. I can’t do much at all. A number of years ago I tried racing my little daughter my left leg is so weak on my th...

10/325 generic percocet which is the best manufacturer for chronic pain ## Hi Em, Unfortunately because every brand/generic effects each person differently, the only honest way to go about finding out what works best, is to try out different manufacturers for yourself. That way you can also formulate your own valid opinion. What I can tell you though from reading a lot of posts on this site, is that Actavis (Formerly known as Watson) has been receiving a massive amount of complaints lately regarding the quality and efficacy of their generic Percocet tablets. So that's probably one company you'd want to steer clear from based on their recent track record. I hope this helps! ## I am a 53 year old grandmother, full-time student earning my bachelors in psychology counseling, then on...

I am looking for Watson 10/325 Percocet and they no longer make them. What about Mylan brand? Has anyone had those- also Amneal is another generic. Help!!! ## My wife takes the 10/325 and has preferred the Watson also. Mylan worked well for her but we can't find anyone near us that carries Mylan. Who are you getting them from? ## I haven't had any personal experience with this med, but after seeing all the complaints against Actavis I think any other brand would be worth looking into. Endo Pharmaceuticals also makes Percocet. I'd just be mindful of the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that they put into those tablets, because you never know if something in there could be effecting its potency/bioavailability from the point of absorption. From what I've read, Endo u...

What country manufactures Acatavis's generic product oxycodone 10mg/acetaminophen 325mg tablets ## Hello, Melvin! How are you? I'm afraid that I don't have this information, however, what I can tell you is that regardless of where any given medication is manufactured, all of them must meet the same safety, quality and efficacy standards to be approved by the FDA and available on the U.S. market. This medication is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Actavis is located in Elizabeth NJ. I ride pass there every week when i visit my daughter.

Horrible experience with RP 10/325 generic for Percocet 10/325 prescribed by my Pain Mgt Dr. I got the prescription filled at Walmart a month ago. Since that time, I have been in withdrawals, with aching muscles, mostly in my shoulders and wrists, the pain I felt before going on any pain pills over 25 years ago, also the chills and sweating, just as if I were in complete withdrawal. I took the bottle to the pharmacy and told the pharmacist what was happening and he told me he has had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me...okay, so my husband is now picking up my new monthly prescription at Walgreens, and the manufacturer is Actavis, which I believe is the old Watson and I am praying they will take away the withdrawal feelings. Has anyone else had this issue with the R...

For years I have been taking Watson brand Percocet 10/325 6 tablets daily. A few months ago I went to fill the prescription and was given Endocet by Endo Pharm. and told it was a generic they had, so I agree to take it. Then last month when I went to get the same script filled I was given Oxycodone/Acet by Actavis and told it is the generic brand but the company bought out Watson and that is why Watson is no longer available. Again, agreed but shortly after taking them I started to notices slight shortness of breath, fast heat beat, extreme dizziness, fall asleep within 30 minutes after taking them, less energy and still having pain. I never felt this way when on Watson and if they are saying it's the same company why am I having theses symptoms? I always take 6 a day, but with thes...

My father got these prescribed after a massive head trauma and reconstruction of his skull and orbital area. I told him they were Percocets but he is arguing with me. I know I am right but need verification for him, lol. Usually Percocets always made him sick and that way if it does we will know it is that and not something else wrong with his skull. ## You are correct, these tablets are manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have generic Percocet it is oval and white. Blank on one side 9333 on the other side. ## Hello, Babygurl! How are you? I think the marking you're looking at may actually be A333. This tablet is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. I had been on Watson 10/325 for a few months for chronic shoulder neck pain. Yesterday I got a new prescription and CVS filled it with an A333 long pill (Actavis). Now I find ~ after questioning the pharmacist and scouring the Internet ~ that Watson is no longer available and {I also find} that the pills I received are probably Actavis' newly released abuse-deterrent pill. This was dispensed as a regular generic version of my Percocet prescription....of which nobody mentioned the switch. After taking one I became very ill, dizzy, sweats and had difficulty breathing for the better part of the day ~ none of which ever occurred with the Watson pills. Can you confirm that Watson will no longer be manufacturing the 10/325 Oxy and that these are actually the alleged "test" run of ...

Just got Camber Pharm generic Percocet at Walgreens instead of the Actavis brand. It's giving me an upset stomach and causing me to feel weird. Has anyone else had a similar reaction? ## What is the dosage? Can you please post back and clarify? Is it the yellow tablet with T 194 imprinted on it? (NDC 31722-194, 10/325 dosage) Or is it another variation of the dosage from Camber? Percocet is a narcotic analgesic. The FDA warns that it's risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Editor's note: the information below is from message # 294 which displays the inactive ingredients (fillers) as listed on the manufacturer's website. I filled my prescription at Walgreens, it was supposed to be percocet 10/325. When I took the pill I noticed that I was still in pain an hr. later. So i checked the markings on it and it was marked a333, I have gotten generics before and they appeared to work so I thought I may have been given the wrong pill so I started researching and found I was not the only one experiencing this issue with these pills. I went to the pharmacy the next day and the pharmacist said ACTAVIS is NOW the only mfg. of this pill besides WATSONS which is extremely expensive and explained to me that they are very hard to get now because of one company buying out another and so on. The pharmacist refused to take the pills back She then suggested I call my dr.I then got upset and told her my insurance paid $150.0...

Hello gang: I would like to compile a comprehensive list of the type of percocet you are taking, as well as where you are getting them from. Please tell me if there is an EXACT replacement for the Watson 392 generic for Percocet. I know Watson has purchased Actavis. I have been taking the Watson 392 for years and the substitute does not help me at all. I take in combination with Fentanyl. Are there other companies that make the "Watson 392" configuration under a different number and name??? I have contacted Actavis several times to see if they have an exact replacement and they have not replied to any of my e-mail. CVS has substituted a Actavis that is supposed to be the same and it isn't. It does not work for me. The number is A333. This is an Endocet substitute and Endocts have never worked for me. ## I don't have an answer...ALL of the Watson Percocet users are miserable now..myself included. Actavis is no...

I just got mine today and they are not worth a sh... I very disappointed in these new laws that is affecting the people . Wastson or dan or DuPont . Keeps changing patent so they can keep it write o well . I be huntting really brand Percocet next month ## Hi James, Because they are different manufacturers, Amneal more than likely contains a different set of "inactive" ingredients than Actavis (formally known as Watson). From my own research, I'm led to believe that these binders/fillers are the root cause behind some pills not working as effectively as their "identical" counterp...

I understand that this is a Percocet, but is it a 5/325 mg dosage? If so, what is the equivalent to a 10 mg hydrocodone? ## Yes, that is correct, it is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth. Each 5mgs of Oxycodone is listed as being equivalent to 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone, so this is a little bit stronger. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Are pills with R 333 Oxycodone? I am sure that it is definitely a Percocet 10 325. Is that right? ## No.. But there is a percocet that is A333 made by Actavis. ## @Phillies, The only pill I'm finding online that is marked "R333", happens to be a 40mg Pantoprazole sodium delayed release tablet, used to treat symptoms of GERD and esophagitis. You never mentioned the color or shape of the tablet either, which in this case is a round yellow pill. But if you say that it's Percocet, it sounds to me like the imprint was simply misinterpreted. Because as Darwinski stated, "A333" is a 10/325mg Percocet made by Actavis; and is a white capsule-shaped pill by description. So there you have it. This could be either one of the pills mentioned above, depending on what you would...

Hi I just started taking this A333 white oblong pill. (Generic Percocet. 10/325). I never had this type before and got it due to pharmacy supply. My question is has anyone noticed a difference in pain relief from other brands. Maybe it's me but it doesn't seem to work as well. Can't wait to hear some other input on this. Thanks. ## Hello, Bill! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis (Watson) and yes, there have been quite a few complaints about it recently. Prior to them popping up on here, I was actually not aware of this tablet and just managed to find the information on it. It appears that it must be cheaper than other generics, because more pharmacies are providing it and many people are dissatisfied. Have you consulted your doctor? They may have some idea t...
