My local pharmacy filled my prescription for Adderall ER 30mg. with the ACTAVIS EL instead of the TEVA USA brand, and I noticed that things were drastically different. First, I noticed mild radiating warmth in the left side of my chest… but, we all know that’s fairly common. I have been taking Adderall IR 30mg twice a day for years. In the past, I've noticed that some generics seemed to work better than others but it wasn't anything I couldn't live with. Got prescription filled at a CVS and I was given the Actavis blue capsule 3060 (previously i had Teva and before I had the brand). The Actavis medicine was not only inefficient but It actually made me sick... I got a day-long irritating and unpleasant motion sickness like feeling. At least I know that this only happens once, next time sure I will ask. ## Hello, Soyla! How are you? What do you mean by saying that it was inefficient? This is a time released formulation, so you shouldn't feel some definitive effect of it all at once. ## It does not work because the active ingredient in the Activis brand genetic doesn't have the same active ingredient as Adderal. It's a brand new company in this game. Says so on both their website and the FDAs.

For convenience I had my script for 30 mg Adderall filled @ target instead CVS. When I opened the bottle I immediately noticed it was physically different but was not concerned because Drug stores switch generics for several reasons such as cost and availability. After taking my first dose I noticed after 2-3 hrs. that I was not getting any noticeable or same response that I was accustomed to for my ADHD (combined) and depression! So I took a closer look at the pill and noticed it looked smaller and it had a #28 on it. I have not opened it up but I have taken the brand-name reddish Adderall XR 20mg for quite awhile. This is probably a reverse placebo effect, but the blue one seem less strong oe less smoothe. Need to know the bead color of the 3061 capsule ## @jake, I'm not sure about "R 3061", but "R 3060" contains WHITE beads and is the 20mg extended release version from the same manufacturer (Actavis)... So odds are that the 30mg 3061 capsule may have the same color beads as the dosage below it. The only differentiating factors I'm aware of are the imprints and the capsule color itself. However I've also heard about Adderall capsules containing peach colored beads as well as combinations of orange and white together. If you have one why don't you open it up and check? I recently was informed that the pink adderall 30 mil tablet Cor136 and Cor135 being the 20 mil tablet have been discontinued. I have the ndc number As well But I’ll leave that out and get to the point and ask why All the pharmacies around western mass Changed to orange color and I was informed that core Pharma Discontinued it. Hi Everyone! Pharmacy tried to give me a new generic--I have always used generic- manufacturer for my Adderall 20XR: Global. I gave it back. Can anyone share their experiences with Global 20XR? In the past when I've switched generic brands with 10mgIR I've had the same major issues that many people have described when switching brands--depression, paranoia, etc. As many people know, this type of thing can totally shut you down at work. Would like to know what color the beads inside the capsule look like? ## @Nikki, Just curious, why is the color of the beads so important if you're obtaining your Adderall legally with a valid prescription? If you have to question the bead color in order to determine if it's real then I think you should probably throw it away. I don't know about the 25mg bead color, but the 20mg generic amphetamine + detroamphetamine extended release blue capsule from Actavis contains white beads. I've also heard about Adderall capsules containing peach colored beads as well as combinations of orange and white together. If you have one why not open it up to find out?

Generic Adderall XR manufactured by Actavis is not the same formulation as was used by Shire/Teva. The efficacy of the drug does not exist in Actavis' version. I plan on filing a complaint with the manufacturer. I encourage others who are not receiving the expected results with Actavis' product to do the same. Be sure call your pharmacy and get the lot number of your capsules. Luckily, I am a chemist who has access to analytical equipment that will help me identify and quantitate this medication. I am unsure if it is indeed amphetamine salts and will not take my prescription. I want to know what I am putting in my body. I've had it with the generic Adderall CVS brand Actavis. I used to take the brand name and had no issues. Switched insurance and can take the brand again after 5 years. If the doctor changes dose will the pharmacy fill it a week early? Im changing from generic to brand. ## If it is a time released formulation, they usually will fill early if the dosage is changed. However, if it is the regular release/instant formulation, they will usually have you cut, or break your existing supply, then fill it for you, once you've exhausted what you currently have left. I agree with you 100% about them not seemig to work. I thought it was just me. I've been presiscribed for 10 years and the meds have always helped. They turned my life around. Until my pharmacy started carrying these weird crescent symbol 28 pills. I don't know what or why but they don't seem to work at all for me. ## I agree totally I have been on the 30s for years now and never had a problem. Does anyone know which generic manufacturer CVS commonly has in stock for both IR and XR Adderall (Amphetamine Salts)? I know they used to carry Mylan for the IR and it's awful. They also used to carry Actavis for the XR which is also terrible, but I don't have many pharmacy choices with my insurance.. and I'm nervous that I'm going to get stuck with Actavis/Mylan... if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it.
