Acetaminophen Side Effects

After surgery today, I have taken 3 generic 5-325 mg, 1 every 4 hours as presribed. I did find that a side effect may be itchiness, which I have to an extreme, as the night went on & addit'l doses. But I also can't sleep, even though a side effect is drowsiness! It's 4:30 PST so no pharmacy is open. Can anyone help??? ## It can have the opposite effect in some people, though it is rare. This was posted a few days ago, so have you contacted your doctor by now? This just may not be the right medication for you to use.

Yesterday I went out to lunch with a friend and I had a margarita, not thinking I took a Hydrocodone-acetaminophen in the morning. In the middle of the afternoon, I started to have nausea and threw up a couple of time. I started having bouts of diahrea. This morning my stomach feels better but I still have diahrea!. The pharmacy said that my original ratio of oxycodone/apap was on backorder and they sent me sandoz oxycodone instead. I am having a constant dull headache since the substitution. I have severe and chronic skeletal pain. Have been taking Tramadol 50mg. the Acetaminophen has caused painful liver symptoms. Does this pill make you drowsy? I took 2 of them, just now and I want that drowsy feeling. ## The tablet with the M 360 marking contains 750mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone, the active ingredients in Vicodin, this is a narcotic analgesic. And yes, it can cause drowsiness as a side effect, but taking it just to feel that, especially doubling up on them is not a safe idea. This is often how drug abuse starts.
