My doc has me on this script. For my knee. My k we is pretty messed up die to a couple blunt objects, tore my acl/mcl in hockey. And have surgery comming up. I see my doc again on the 13 or 15. I've been trying to get her to up the dose becacuse my body is building up a. Tolerance to this medication what should I ask or say to my doctoer to her to try and change it or up the dose for the time being until my surgery!? I use it for pain relief after lumbar spinal fusion for L5-S1. My pain is in the right leg this time and is worse at night. a bottle tape up and marking of GPI A5 info what is it ## This is Acetaminophen, it is hard to saw which dosage, as the company that manufactures them, Gemini, uses the same logo on all of their Acetaminophen tablets, and they make several dosages, including a Childrens 80mg, a regular strength 325mg and an extra strength 500mg, but either way, it is Acetaminophen in an over the counter dosage, not a prescription nor anything dangerous. You do run into this some times, since OTC items are not regulated and required to have unique markings on each pill and dosage like prescription meds are required to have. ## what is this pill GPI A5 ? what it for pain?

how many mg of oxycodone in a acetaminophen 325 ## Acetaminophen and Oxycodone are two different drugs; therefore the dosage of Acetaminophen does not reflect the dosage of Oxycodone. However in some preparations and combination drugs, such as Percocet, 325mgs of Acetaminophen may be combined with 5-10mgs of Oxycodone for an additive effect on pain relief. I usually always took a different brand of percocet 5/325. My new dr called my script into Walgreens (usually i went thru hy-vee). I have been taking the Actavis brand since 4/18/16. I went yesterday to my dr. She evaluated my urine to check the opioid level. I got a call this morning from her- there is NO OPIOID in my system at all! I have been taking percocet for years due to a bad auto accident years ago. I took the pills to Walgreens, she would call dr and call me. She did-tried to tell me i hadn't been taking them! I have severe stabbing pain in my shoulder. When the pain starts my blood pressure shoots to 220/140 with a 133 pulse. I was prescribed Hydrocodone and sometimes if I don't get a severe attack it works. If I have a big attack I have Dilaudid prescribed as well. The pharmacy said that my original ratio of oxycodone/apap was on backorder and they sent me sandoz oxycodone instead. I am having a constant dull headache since the substitution. I survived a compression fracture @C5 and then two more medically necessary (surgically induced) fracture/repairs @C5. I walked away after all of that. In 1998 my spinal cord attached to C5 and the repair work has been scratching into the cord ever since. Prescribed Oxycodone Acetaminophen 5-325mg and carefully monitored ever since I am now at 6 pills a day and have held that level for the last 5 years or so. This month my prescription changed to OA 5-3. It is a smaller pill so I am guessing it is 300 mg rather than 325. Is my guess correct? I am in agony from the forced reduction. I would like to know if this Rx will reduce swelling. Monday, I had Oral surgery for the removal of a tooth and this is the Rx. I take 1 tablet by mouth every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain. Tuesday, I was scheduled to return for flipper retainer to be inserted but I was not feeling well & was very swollen, so I postponed to Thursday.
