However yes, the Oxycodone is much stronger than the Codeine. If you have been taking 30mgs of Codeine, then you'd only require 3mgs of Oxycodone to be an equivalent dosage and the issue there is that there isn't any 3mg dosage of Oxycodone available by prescription in tablet form. What's the comparison between extra strength Tylenol at 500 mg and Tylenol 3 ## Hello, Cathy! How are you? Tylenol 3 actually contains 300mgs of Acetaminophen and 30mgs of Codeine. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, you really can't compare it to regular over the counter Tylenol, that only contains Acetaminophen. Has this been prescribed for you?

IS IT SAFE TO INGEST APAP/CODEINE300-30MGTAB AFTER TEN YEARS ON THE SHELF? ## They don't get dangerous, after the expiration, but they do start to lose effectiveness, so being that old, it is highly doubtful that they will work very well for pain. If they were in an original factory sealed bottle, they are usually good for about 3 years or so and in a pharmacy bottle, they are only good for a year, after you purchase them, because that is when they are exposed to heat and light. Storage can also have an effect, if they have been kept somewhere warm and moist, then they will degrade much faster. I was wondering because I took an excedrin for my headache if I can also take two 2063 V pills containing 300mgs of acetaminophen + 30mgs of codeine phosphate? ## Both of these medications contain Acetaminophen, so there is a risk of overdose toxicity if you double up, according to FDA warnings. They state that you should not exceed 1,000mgs in an 8 period, and no more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period. Exceeding that risks overdose toxicity, which may include stomach ulceration, liver damage, liver failure, or death. Is there anything else I can help with?

ive tried it once, it feels like E. but for some reason my walls were changing colors! ## The tablet marked TEC 4 contains 60mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a Canadian tablet. Some narcotics do have unusual effects on people, especially in that high of a dosage, when you haven't taken them, before. Other side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, euphoria and constipation. Learn more: I took Codeine once, many years ago and quickly learned to stay away from it.
