Is there any chronic pain patients from Kentucky or Ohio that are finding themselves with no treatment and no where to turn for help? I am an advocate for pain patients and patients have contacted me saying how they had just moved to one state or the other and called many doctor offices to only be rejected because they are chronic pain patients already. The doctors offices say they are not accepting new patients or that the office does not treat pain. Can you imagine someone with cancer that has called 258 Dr offices and have been turned away because they take opiate medicine for pain? Plain and simple, I live in the Medford/Mt Holly/Marlton area in South Jersey. I have my MRI and paperwork; I have a spine curvature/scoliosis, 2 disc bulges, and a herniated disc all in L1-L5 areas, and compression? in S1-S2. I've taken Oxycodone and Methadone on my own before and they worked wonders. But now I can not find a doctor accepting new patients in the area that will prescribe Oxycodone. I was recently dropped by my doctor of 11 years for no reason, and i need to find a new doctor in my area that is accepting new patients that will continue to fill the prescriptions I had for adderall and xanax. I have been taking these 2 drugs now for almost 5 years. I'm 28 years old. Moved to Rochester in September from Long Island where I had no problem getting my pain medication for 10 years I have contacted 6 pain management facilities Rochester Pain management who seemed promising advised me today they are not accepting new patients for pain medication and referred me to the pain center at Strong Memorial hospital calling them tomorrow it's ridiculous in Rochester I'm 59 the state has all doctors running scared may have to fly to Long Island every month crazy up here

There are now more options & many more physicians & also Nurse Practioners who are licensed to prescribe Suboxone and they also accept Louisiana Medicaid.
