Acc Long

Hi I have been on accutane 2 times. 9 months at the age of 16 and 10 months at the age of 18. I have had many problems over the last 10 years like depression, insomnia, nocturia, stomach issues, eye strain and on. Is it possible this drug did some damage? ## Yes, the NIH does report that Accutane has been known to cause some long term ill health effects, including the issues you've mentioned, plus reproductive issues for women and fetal abnormalities, if taken while a woman is pregnant. Are you on any other medications? Have you had these checked out by your doctor?

I have a son that took accutane 60 mg a day for six months in a row three years ago. Now after many trips to doctors over strange medical problems, it seems accuatne is the culprit medication that has caused servere joint and muscle pain, severe dry lips, redness in face, eye infections of own immune system attacking itself, systems of osteoarthritis in both shoulders, both wrist and right hand, blood in stool, possible hair loss, abnormal liver function test results in AST and ALT. My son went from being a high school football and track athlete while taking this medication three years ago to someone that is in constant pain just washing a car. After I have researched this drug extensively, I can't believe that the FDA allows this drug originally made for cancer patients to be marke...

How long after Xtandi has reduced PSA levels to zero or almost zero does it take for PSA levels to start to rise and I will have to find another step in treatment? ## Hi Marlee, I'll be honest, I don't know anything about PSA levels or what that stands for medically, BUT, looking at the estimated half life of Xtandi (enzalutamide) you can get a really good idea of how long it will be working in your body since your last dose. According to The University of Utah, the mean half life of Xtandi is 5.8 days with a broad range of anywhere between 2.8 – 10.2 days. So if Xtandi reduced your PSA levels shortly after ingestion, it will take about 5 days for half of that dose to be eliminated from your body; and then another 5 days for half of that remaining half to be eliminated, an...

I have been on dexilant now for 3 months and for me it's been good. My concern is of course the long-term effect with this medication as it seems this medication is used for short-term up to 6 months from what I have read. Why is that?? My wife has been on another proton pill for like 15 years now but this one seems different. Can you actually take this one forever? What's the alternative if you're not able due to the long-term issues? This medication works for me but I'm a little nervous if I'm not able to take this one long term. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. ## Hello, Bert! How are you? Actually, all of them increase the risk of hip fractures, with long-term use, especially in the elderly, according to the NIH. This applies to all PPIs. Other side ef...

I'm having a very difficult time finding a Dermatologist that accepts Medicaid. I live in Western Suffolk County and will even travel to Nassau County. ## Hello, Pat! How are you? The best idea that I can offer you is to call the NY Medicaid recipient number and see if they have a listing for one in your area that accepts it. You can reach them at 800-541-2831. Does anyone else have any ideas or suggestions? Do you have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, they may also be able to refer you to someone that accepts it. ## Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try! Pat ## Very welcome! I hope you find the help you need! Post back and keep me updated, thanks! ## Hi Pat, I am going to let you know that unfortunately, no matter how great or lousy your insurance is, suboxone docto...

i am looking for a doctor in Long Island that is covered dy Medicaid ## Forgettabout' it! I'll do you a favor and save you at least 1&1/2 days which ='s wasting 36 hours calling dozens of doctors trying and hoping to find just even a single one who will accept even any kind of insurance (let alone yours). Not even any or even a one doctor will accept any medical insurance for suboxone treatment/ prescription and if you do find that one doctor in the NY tri-state area, please let me know. Legally/according to law, they away required and have to accept your insurance as payment, if they participate/accept your health insurance plan. BUT say suboxone/subutex/buprenorphrine & your done --- meaning no insurances are ever accepted for opiate maintenance programs. Dirty, sn...

Zafirlukast is an orally administered leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA) used for the chronic treatment of asthma. Churg-Strauss syndrome has been associated with zafirlukast, but the relationship isn't thought to be causative in nature. Overdoses of zafirlukast tend to be self-limiting. Zafirlukast, like other LTRAs...

My 25 yr old daughter took accutaine 6 months ago, for 5 months and now has depression and fatigue. Also she has ringing in her ears, blurry vision and headaches. She's having trouble working as she did a year ago. Anyone else have these symptoms? Any suggestions about what she can do to help with these symptomsand how long they may last? Thanks for any help anyone can offer. ## Accutane is actually well known for causing such symptoms, even after the course of treatment is finished. However, to be certain that's what has caused them, she should see a doctor who can give her a proper diagnose and help her find solutions. Are there any other questions or comments?

Does this really work? Is it better than co q 10? ## Since it is also just another over the counter supplement, it is not proven to work for anything or to work any better than any other brand on the market. Does anyone have experience using this product? ## is dr. al sears legitimate anti aging doctor ## Yes it realy works better than CoQ10, But Dr.Sears did not invent it ! It is Ubiquinol (Kaneka QH®) Developed by Kaneka Nutrients, And you can have the same stuff by other brands, for as little as 1/6 of the price of Accel ! ## High quality CoQ10 works, but Ubiquinol is more expensive because it is highly unstable and susceptible to oxidation. Dr. William Judy, long-time CoQ10 researcher has published research showing that the CoQ10 absorbed in the intestines is ubiquinone b...
