Can i give acc 200 to my dog? She seems to have bronchitis and the vet gave her antibiotics, burpack and allergy pills but it seems to not work, so i tried to give her half of the acc 200 dissolved in water and she is a little bit better. Can i go on with the pill? Will it do anything to her? ## Please will you let me know how ACC 200 has worked? I am desperate. I have a 7 month old Bengal kitten who is a rescue. She was very ill with snuffles when I got her at 3 months. Now she eats very well and is in superb condition, all but this constant thick green/yellow mucous in her nose. I clean it 3-5 times a day. My vet took a trachea swab and it turns out she is resistant to most antibiotics. I have the report. My vet is away and her partner is very belligerent and non communicative. She ha...

For some years I have had problems with sore throat, which turns into very bad coughing spasms. I cough and eventually heave until it feels my chest is going to burst with effort of coughing up mucus. Mucus starts off discolored but eventually becomes white and spongy. It is not influenza. No medicine benefits me at all. Please advise! ## Have you seen a doctor and had tests performed to get to the root of the problem? This could be caused by many different things, from recurrent tonsilitis, to allergies to a heart problem. Over the internet, there is really no way anyone can diagnose your or suggest a treatment, from just one post with limited information. Can ACC 200 be taken if you are on Warfarin? ## ACC 200 is listed as containing the active ingredient N-Acetylcysteine. Ref: N-Acetylcysteine Information It is warned that it may cause some side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and eye irritation. However, it has not been studied regarding safety when taken with blood thinners, thus, it would be best to consult your doctor, before taking it. Are you on any other medications?

I've accidentally taken it twice within 2 hours. I took one via a nose tube as I can't swallow food due to a stroke. My problem here is that it stated "3 times a day" but my mucus is too thick unless I take it 4 times daily. Is that ok? I'm a worried mom.

FDA modified its labeling on February, 2009 to include a precaution of drug interaction with gold. fat blocker ## From what I can gather, Cr-Pico is an abbreviation for "Chromium Picolinate". Chromium picolinate is a form of Chromium marketed for use in improving nutrient metabolism and to promote weight loss. However, I have not read any information about it being a "fat blocker" per say. According to NIH.gov, Chromium is known to enhance the action of insulin, a hormone critical to the metabolism and storage of carbohydrate, fat, and protein in the body. Chromium also appears to be directly involved in carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism, but more research is needed to determine the full range of its roles in the body. You can also visit the link below for more specific details about the use of Chromium as a dietary supplement: ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Chromi...

Could someone tell me if they have seen a round tablet with green flecked topside and white the bottom side, with the imprint T R 200 on it? I think the imprint is on the green side. What I have been told is that it is some kind of pain relief/muscle relaxant, but would like to know what it is. Someone gave it to my son for relief from Fibro symptoms, and I would like to know what he is taking. Is it even a legal drug? ## I just located a pill from Australia that seems to fit your description pretty accurately: "Tramadol Sandoz SR 200mg - round, flat, with facet; consisting of a white-coloured and a green-coloured layer. The green-coloured side is embossed with “TR 200â€." Referenced from: mydr.com.au/medicines/cmis/tramadol-sandoz-sr-twice-daily-sus...

Ok people I REALLY need some help here. I will try to be as brief as possible but I need solutions. Im 39 (in 2 days) and have been dealing with chronic back pain since a serious auto accident when I was 17. I broke my back, fusion of L1-L3, had steel rods put in and taken out a year later. After the initial recuperation I was not on any type of prescriptions for pain. I was young and I just dealt with it. Oddly you start to just "get used" to feeling that way and it just becomes a part of your life. Jump to 2008...another auto accident. (Can I just clarify that neither accident was my fault.) Not as serious but seemed to do more damage and reawaken old injuries as well. So now Im dealing with back and neck pain on a daily basis at 35. I was prescribed Vicodin and Soma which has...

Around 2005 my 15 yr. old son was put on Accutane for severe acne. He begin being very tired, but most teenagers come home from school and take a nap especially when catching the school bus at 6:30 am. His acne cleared up very quickly. He was very active, baseball, volleyball, etc. He started having symptoms at age 16 of rapid heart palpitations and shortness of breath, just walking across the yard, but didn't say anything because he thought he was "out of shape". I immediately took him to the doctor who could not find anything wrong on physical exam. So he submitted a full blood panel. That night I received a phone call to get him to the emergency room immediately, his red blood cells and platelets were critically low and he needs a blood transfusion. Upon further testing h...

Need help finding the ndc for this prescription and others. Can anyone help? ## Alaxan FR contains Ibuprofen (200mg) + Paracetamol (325mg). I'm not sure if the following NDC (National Drug Code) for this tablet is correct, but it is the only thing I can find on the tablet: Z20023035 The distributor who had this NDC posted is actually under investigation for one reason or another and their site cannot be fully accessed at this time. Because of that, getting verification from them isn't possible. Do you have a way to verify if this code is correct? If I had to guess I wouldn't think this pill is manufactured in the U.S., due to the lack of available information.

Is nesecery to take this biometronizole200 ## Hi Dan, Sorry to hear about your challenges with this medication. According to the MayoClinic, chest pain and shortness of breath are both listed as rare but serious side effects of Metronidazole, that should be reported to your doctor immediately. Loss of appetite is also another side effect listed on Medlineplus. With that said, it seems like the best approach now would be to discuss these concerns with your doctor, if not but for your own safety. I took accutane in 2004 at 63 years of age. I immediatetly started having problems with triglycerides, eyes, diziness, balance problems, dementia, depression, slurred speech, elevated blood sugar, etch. Is there anyone out there that took this drug at this age? ## Age means nothing. I am sure there are people who have taken at your age, but people younger say 16 have ended up with diseases that usually 50-60 yrs get from Accutane. Many people have suffered what you state from Accutane. There are all documented side effects. Hopefully back in 2004 you stopped the med and things got better. Did you take it for Acne or Cancer? ## Are you still taking it? While the FDA does warn that these can be side effects, that doesn't necessarily mean that it has cause brain damage. Other side effe...

Is this amount of medicine dangerouss? ## Is taking a 10/200 Hydrocodone pill dangerous to my body ## The usual adult dosage for Vicodin (Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen) is one or two tablets every four to six hours as needed for pain. The total daily dosage should not exceed 8 tablets according to the dosing and administration guidelines for this medication. If you are taking more than you need, then the Acetaminophen can certainly cause damage to your liver over a period of time. That said, I would strongly suggest sticking to the dosing schedule that your doctor or pharmacist recommended for you. If they didn't advise a dosing regime for you, I would personally stick to the usual adult dosing schedule listed above. Dosages should also be adjusted by your doctor according to the seve...

I'm a female, age 81, and for a few days my blood pressure got high (200/120). What can I do about this immediately? ## Those numbers can be very dangerous, you could suffer a heart attack or stroke, according to the NIH. You need to see a doctor immediately, so they can evaluate you and prescribe an appropriate medication, if they feel one, or more, are necessary. Are you currently taking any medications regularly? How often has your blood pressure been this high? Do you have any diagnosed medical conditions?

How long is this medicine good for. ## Hi rae, According to Roche Pharmaceuticals, the tablets as well as the oral suspensions of sulfamethoxazole + trimethoprim both have a shelf life of 5 years. However I'm assuming this is based on their recommended storage temperature being below 30 degrees celsius (86*F). On the contrary, a news article by the LA Times suggests from prior studies that many medications are actually good for up to 40 years beyond the listed expiration date. They also go on to state that expiration dates are often set solely based upon one's own discretion without a specific reason or evidence indicating that it truly has expired. And apparently the reason behind this is that the FDA doesn't require pharmaceutical companies to check how long their ingredie...
