Can I separate the pills I have in half so I don't waste what I have? ## No, you can't safely split a capsule, because there is no way to ensure that you are evenly splitting the amount of the medication that is inside them. 1/2 long, 1/4 diameter, pink, hard, capsule shaped pill marked "Alza 54". ## alza 54 is 54 mg extended release Concerta ## Very good if you actually have ADD or ADHD, but taking them without this condition may not be the best idea. They do not have any real effects, they make you more concentrated but you will get migranes the next day and will have a difficult time sleeping. I do not reccomend them for unprescribed use.

Found a purple pill that is the color of next nexium but the imprint is upjohn331...anyone know what this could be? ## I think the imprint is wrong. Either someone has tampered with this, switching the capsule or it could be nexium but I wouldn't take chances. Throw it out! ## @Nay, Whereabouts did you get it from? Depending on a pill's origin, I feel that it's legitimacy could probably speak for itself (i.e. from India, the internet, a local pharmacy, a friend, etc). I've also seen the following drug manufacturer's names associated with other pills bearing an "upjohn" imprint: Greenstone LLC, Pfizer (Mexico), Pharmacia Corp. Perhaps through contacting them, they can determine if your pill fits the description of something they actually make (or used to make)...

I have found a capsule that is dark green with a white stripe around the middle and the letters EX on one side next to the stripe ## I found some of these as well.... any luck identifying them? ## Found one in hallway, was able to find the bottle, excedrin extra strength. ## That is correct, this is Extra Strength Excedrin, it contains Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. Oral?? ## Hi Paige, When you find things like this at the gym or inside of a gym bag I think steroids are almost always going to be a prime suspect, but without having a marking or imprint of some kind, this is really anyone's best guess. US prescription drugs all carry imprints, so we can definitely rule that out. This leaves any illicit, foreign, or dietary supplements as the next clue. This is a generc version of the mild narcotic pain killer Darvocet. It contains Propoxyphene 100mgs and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Has anyone tried the Omedex Plus 40 mg Esomeprazol as a substitute for Nexium. I bought some in Mexico but haven't tried it yet. It is a clear capsule with with pellets inside. The pellets look like the same thing as inside the Nexium capsules. Insurance quit paying for Nexium so looking for an alternative. Yesterday I took 1 tablet of bactrim for a UTI. For the next 6 hours I did not feel better, so I took 1 Rowatinex capsule. I woke up this morning symptoms free. Do I need to continue Rowatinex? For how long? Thanks. ## Bactrim is an antibiotic and just one tablet can't be expected to completely cure an infection and eradicate the bacteria that has caused it. They do not work like that. This is my second time noticing that I have some problems taking solmux 500mg. The first time was every time I coughed, I could feel so much pain in my stomach. My coughing had to be long and hard. I am taking Macrodantin capsules for a UTI bid for 9 days but it's not working. I want to switch to Amoxicillin 500mg. How long do I have to wait to begin the Amoxicillin? ## If your doctor approves, there shouldn't be any reason to wait, you should be able to make a clean switch from one to the other at the next dosing time. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. Got prescription filled at a CVS and I was given the Actavis blue capsule 3060 (previously i had Teva and before I had the brand). The Actavis medicine was not only inefficient but It actually made me sick... I got a day-long irritating and unpleasant motion sickness like feeling. At least I know that this only happens once, next time sure I will ask. ## Hello, Soyla! How are you? What do you mean by saying that it was inefficient? This is a time released formulation, so you shouldn't feel some definitive effect of it all at once. ## It does not work because the active ingredient in the Activis brand genetic doesn't have the same active ingredient as Adderal. It's a brand new company in this game. Says so on both their website and the FDAs.

I recently changed pharmacy's. I usually take the yellow Mylan 30mg Temazepam dose which works fine. The new pharmacy's generic is from Activas. A white capsule with a logo (R with a line through it) and 077 imprinted on it. I do not get the same effect of what I am used to vs the yellow 30mg capsules. has anyone had the same issue? I also seem to have a slight withdrawal during the next day. Has anyone else switched Mfg? ## Although I don't have any personal experience with this medication, I am aware that the major differences in peoples reaction to the drug are largely due to different body chemistry and different inactive ingredients in each brand/generic. Had ONE dose of Kapidex this morning. Never had one before. One hour later I started with severe aching all over, diahrrea, an echoing rattling in my head (yes, I've already done about as many jokes about that as I can think of :-) ) a really bad headache, dizziness, nausea, and muscles feel tight. Other than that I'm fine!!! Could this be the result of drug interaction--I take about seven antidepressants, plus meds for Crohn's Disease. Or--are these complaints just side effects?
