A333 White Pill

I just started taking the A333 pill. It is supposed to be a generic substitute for oxycodone 10/325. I was taking the Watson 932 generic substitute but was switched to the A333 pill because of drug store supply. I have noticed the A333 does not work nearly as well as the Watson 932 for me. ## Hello, Will! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. How long have you been taking this one? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, but they are usual minuscule and normally your body will adjust after a short period of time. ## I have been taking Percocet for a long time. Up until about 4 months ago I would get this strong burst of energy along with killing the pain. It would last about 4hrs. I would get the...

Why is this pill so hard to find info on? If it is oxycodone the drug # does not come up when you search it? Just like to be sure that it is what it is supposed to be. Please give me info, a link or something. ## Hi tyrone, A lot of people have been asking about this specific pill lately and I think it's mainly because they do not have it listed yet on standard pill ID sites. Actavis (the manufacturer) however, does in fact list it on their product webpage as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, it has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. Source: actavis.com/en/Products/SearchProductResults.htm?search_criteria=OXYCODONE/APAP I hope this helps clear up any confusion!

I just got this medication from a local CVS pharmacy. I had to pay because they once again lied to me about Oxycondone being taken off the market and that my insurance no longer covers this medication. The truth about A333 is LESS Tylenol. If this pill does not work as well as Watson 932 just take an extra Tylenol pill with it. I have been on opiates for 5 years and this pill works just fine for me. ## Hi ben, Sorry to hear about the pharmacy lying to you over your insurance coverage. That sounds like a pretty ridiculous attempt to get you to spend cash. Watson 932 actually has the same amount of Acetaminophen as A333, but I think the difference is that they don't make them with more than 325 mgs anymore. 325 mg is now the new max dosage found in any pills as of 2014, due to an incr...

This a333 is generic for percocet and CVS is dispensing them, OXYCODONE 10/3.25 is what they are. ## Thanks for taking the time to share this information. To anyone else needing a second opinion, I can also confirm that an oblong white pill marked with "A333" is in fact identified as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, this tablet is said to be manufactured by Actavis, and has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. Does anyone here have personal experience or feedback from trying these over other manufacturer's brands/generics? I heard one complaint about someone having stomach or GI problems from this particular form, but have yet to come across a list of inactive ingredients to see what exactly might b...

What is a white oblong pill with A333 on it? It is supposed to be a Percocet but feels more like a Hydrocodone to me. ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. It doesn't work nearly as well as the generic Watson 932 I have been taking for pain. ## The pill marked "A333" is in fact listed as generic Percocet (10/325), but I think many others would agree with you that its effects aren't quite up to par with what you would normally expect from this medication. Ever since Actavis bought out Watson, there seems to have been a downgrade in the sheer potency/efficacy of all their pain medications. The FDA also allows a pretty significant variability (20-25%) of the amount of active ingredients found in generic medications. So one scenario could be that Actavis is taki...

To all of you who find that the A333 doesn't work as well as the Watson 932 you are right. i have been using the Watson for 3 years now with great pain reduction and no side effects. Now after 3 months on the Actavis A333 I am in a lot of pain and am constipated most of the time. Since the FDA allows a 20-25% tolerance, a 10mg pill could only be 8mgs, lets face it you know its not going to go the other way, that would cut into profits. As an organic chemist dealing in DNA & RNA production for the monomers I can tell you that the slightest change can make all the difference in the end product. I can bet the farm that Actavis made the A333 cheaper than Watson so therefor that is why the chemist at Actavis make it and not the chemist at Watson. Any variation in production will make...

Whats the difference between the two pills ## Hello, Osha! How are you? There is no difference, as of now they are even manufactured by the same company, since Watson acquired Actavis and has done away with the Watson name. But both contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. With some Watson tablets seeming to have disappeared from the market, I think they may be just intending to stick with some of the Actavis products. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The Actavis a333 does not work!!!! I have been taking watson 932 for 3 years and never had a single issue. The 2 ...

Wanting to know if these are these percocets ? ## Hello, Sboom! How are you? Yes, the tablet with the A 333 marking contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while the one with the 512 marking contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello, I started taking the 10 mg oxycodone made by A333. I was taking the brand Watson until my pharmacy switched. I've noticed I've been having a lot of symptoms that I've never had before until after taking this brand that makes A333. Could there be another ingredient in this pill that isn't found in the Watson 10-325 or the 932? ## Hello, Melvin! How are you? I am not sure what the problem is, but many people have been complaining about this tablet. The best suggestion I can make is to talk to your doctor and see if you can try an alternative medication to avoid getting this one, again. Is there anything else I can help with?

This pill has a 333 on it and is oblong and white has nothing on the other side of the first time. ## Hi Eli, The oblong (capsule-shaped) white pill you're describing marked "A333" is in fact identified as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, this particular tablet is manufactured by Actavis, and has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. You can also learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Oxycodone Details I hope this helps and wish you a merry christmas! ## White Pill with A333 Oblong that is generic for percocet I think needs to be looked into more closely. I have a pill marked A 333 and blank on the other side, cannot find what it is on any website. Can someone help me figure out what pill this is??! ## Hello, Barb! How are you? I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find a listing for this, either. I'm wonder if it is possibly an over the counter product, or maybe a foreign medication? Where was it found? Knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. ## If it's an oblong white pill it's Percocet 10/325. Yes there is a big difference in the manufacturers of these pills. The white, round, WATSON 925s seem to work best as far as pain relief and "highness". The ovals are ok but not as good as watson...The peach or yellow pills are also less effective than the watsons. ## I just came across an article from this website,"Generics and Biosimilars" titled, "Actavis makes agreement for generic abuse-deterrent oxycodone", Posted 03/05/2013, that explains exactly why everyone is getting sick and feeling no pain relief. Please please please... complain to the FDA, to the company Actavis, which u can get on the internet and call Walgreens @800-walgreens...but tell walgreens not to send the info to ur local pharmacy.. cause they will...tell them u want ur complaint to go to t...

Thanks ## Hello, Sorry to hear about your situation. Apparently a great deal of other people have been complaining about the lack of effects from these A333 tablets. They seem to be a newer version that recently came out, but because it's a "generic" the percentage of active ingredients are allowed to vary by as much as 25%... enough to cause problems for most people that...

Is R333 Percocet 7.5/325? My last prescription for Percocet 7.5/325 said R332 and was flatter than the R333. ## Hi E J, There actually aren't any pills marked "R333" that fit your description. I think you may have meant to say "A 333" which is a white oblong pill containing 10mgs of oxycodone + 325mgs of acetaminophen (generic for Percocet). "A 332" fits the same physical description as the previous pill, aside from being slightly flatter due to having a smaller dosage of oxycodone (7.5 mg) instead of the 10mg in A333. I hope this helps explain things! ## I had a heck of a time figuring this out. R333 is the generic for A333. The ones I am getting are still made by Actavis. Check with your pharmacist, because it was unclear if the R333 designation is a univer...

I have been taking oxycodone 10/325 for a serious pain problem for some time now. I am used to getting a round white tablet with Watson imprinted on one side and the numbers 925. Those worked fine for my pain. They were supplied by CVS as a generic for Percocet. I also received another generic that was a yellow oblong tablet and these also worked well. I refilled my prescription last month however and got these white oval tablets with an imprint of A333 on them and not only am I not getting adequate pain coverage but there are many times I felt very strange after taking my medication. The only way I can describe it is weird, tingly, the way I feel if I have been able to sleep and miss taking my afternoon dose. Like I didn't take the medication at all. I discussed this with a friend ...

can't find this ....... anyone?? ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Is the marking A333 or just 333? I'm also having difficulty finding it and that may help me to narrow down where to look. ## I called CVS and was told that the pill is oxycodone 10/325. I could not locate anything on the internet, but my pharmacist assured me that it is a narcotic. There is a round pill with the same numbers printed on the pill and that is a different non narcotic med. The oblong white pill with A 333 is in fact oxycodone. ## A 333 ## I have a new pill supposed to be oxycodone 10 mg, but it's different name than what I did have. Pharmacist assures me it's right. The number on it is A333. Is this truly what it's suppose to be?

This is supposed to be Percocet??? Very concerned. ## Apparently someone else who was looking for this same exact pill on another thread, said it was supposed to be a Percocet 10/325mg tablet. However, I understand that the imprint has an R and not an A. It's just the only relative match that I found is "A333" on a white oblong (capsule-shaped) tablet. Makes me wonder if the manufacture simply made a mistake on a good batch of their pills? You could try calling the U.S. Customer Relations for Actavis at +1 (800) 272-5525. Maybe they can confirm whether or not it's truly one of their own. I hope this helps! Does anyone else recognize this pill? ## The "R" looks like an "A" after the 333. It is a Percocet.
