VERY SEVER ACID REFLUX THAT LASTS HOURS !!!! WHAT’S THIS ABOUT ? GOVERNMENT CONTROL. YES … BELIEVE IT…. IT DOES HAVE TO DO WITH OUT INSURANCE CONTROLLED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND MANDATED WITHOUT CHOICE , MONITORING AND CONTROL. THEY DON’T GIVE A FRICKEN CRAP ABOUT THE POPULATION….. WHY ? Ok so i was recently prescribed this new equivalent to my previous prescription for watson. The scoring on this new pill is a333 and it seems to work well but my stomach cant handle the cramping. My pcp is going to write for me a new prescription for something different but until then im stuck with these cheap nockoffs. Can i cut these pills in half to minimize the stomach cramping? ## Hello, Steve! How are you? Yes, as long as your doctor approves, you can cut these in half, they are regular release tablets that contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, according to the prescription drug databases. The FDA lists this mediation as possibly being habit forming and states that it is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects,...

They did not discountuine he WATSON brand that was what the pharmacy was telling you so they did not have to explain why they did not have the New Abuse Pills made, There was a contract made the Actavis would be the ones to do the pills and that is why they are filling all Pain meds. This is all about our government trying to control our life. We have no freedom anymore. We can't even have freedom of Pain. It is all crap. The thing with the National Pill registry, trying to get people on health care, that's all a way to monitor where you go to the Doctor what meds you get, it's all a plan...WATSON was not discontinued. ## Complaining to the FDA about weak percocets from activas is a joke.its the FDA thats trying to take away our pain meds. Boycott all Activas products and go...

I found that the activis a333 has a laundry detergent taste,(the powdered kind),,and it crumbles very easy in my hand and in my mouth...regular Percocets or generic or vicoden are crunchy and are hard to snap if you bite them...I could understand them being soft, even though I never had a soft pill like that, but my question is why does it taste like laundry detergent ## How do you know what detergent tastes like?? Wtf did u eat laundry detergent hahaah ## Hello Maddixx, Different brands use different inactive ingredients, the ingredients that are there for purposes not directly related to the intended purpose of the pill. These ingredients affect the time release of the pills, it sounds like the percocets/vicodin/generics you have previously taken all have a hard shell which typically ...

I just started taking the A333 pill. It is supposed to be a generic substitute for oxycodone 10/325. I was taking the Watson 932 generic substitute but was switched to the A333 pill because of drug store supply. I have noticed the A333 does not work nearly as well as the Watson 932 for me. ## Hello, Will! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. How long have you been taking this one? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, but they are usual minuscule and normally your body will adjust after a short period of time. ## I have been taking Percocet for a long time. Up until about 4 months ago I would get this strong burst of energy along with killing the pain. It would last about 4hrs. I would get the...

I am having really high blood pressure, chest pain, my left arms feels asleep, my left leg as well, plus I get this pain down my left leg. I get them filled on the 18th and only takin 11 of them, even though they are prescribed 4 x day. I took 1 Tues morning at 11 am and by 3pm all them signs above came on, it lasted till wed about 6 to 7 pm. everything went back to normal. My blood pressure was fine, and non of the signs about. The only other thing I took was my blood pressure pills. I called the pharmacy and asked them if it had anything to do with the new Actavis Oxycodone since that is the only thing NEW IS THE BRAND ACTAVIS OXYCOD...

MY HUSBAND HAD A STROKE IN 2007 AND HAS CONSTANT HEADACHES EVER SINCE. HE WAS PUT ON THE WATSON 932 AND AT LEAST TOOK THE EDGE OFF AND HE COULD DO SOME THINGS AROUND THE HOUSE. WELL ACTVIST BOUGHT WATSON PHARM AND WE WERE TAKING THE A333 AND IT WAS DOING NOTHING FOR HIM. THE PAIN WOULD BE UNBEARABLE SOMETIMES AND HE WOULD HIDE IN THE DARK BEDROOM FOR HOURS. WE WENT TO WALMART AND GOT A DIFFERENT BRAND WHICH IS IP 204 FROM AMNEAL PHAMACUETICALS. WE WILL SEE IF IT WILL WORK FOR HIM. ## Hello, Marcy! How is your husband doing? Are the new tablets from Intrapharm working better for him? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## The Actavis a333 does not work!!!!I...

I picked up my medication at my pharmacy CVS and it was a333 when I took the first pill I started felling cramps and headache... I called the pharmacy they offered no help so I went back to my doctor and got another script .I can't tell you how awful I felt like I was some kind of drug freak or something I had to have my medicine flushed once before because I was sick the entire time I was taking it...at this point no matter what happens with my medication I'm sticking with it good or bad for fear she won't see me anymore..its not right to feel like you may be labeled a drug freak because you don't want to suffer because these drug companies don't do right by the people they are supposed to help. Anyone else feel this way? ## The Actavis a333 does not work!!!!I have ...

Why is this pill so hard to find info on? If it is oxycodone the drug # does not come up when you search it? Just like to be sure that it is what it is supposed to be. Please give me info, a link or something. ## Hi tyrone, A lot of people have been asking about this specific pill lately and I think it's mainly because they do not have it listed yet on standard pill ID sites. Actavis (the manufacturer) however, does in fact list it on their product webpage as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, it has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. Source: actavis.com/en/Products/SearchProductResults.htm?search_criteria=OXYCODONE/APAP I hope this helps clear up any confusion!

I just got this medication from a local CVS pharmacy. I had to pay because they once again lied to me about Oxycondone being taken off the market and that my insurance no longer covers this medication. The truth about A333 is LESS Tylenol. If this pill does not work as well as Watson 932 just take an extra Tylenol pill with it. I have been on opiates for 5 years and this pill works just fine for me. ## Hi ben, Sorry to hear about the pharmacy lying to you over your insurance coverage. That sounds like a pretty ridiculous attempt to get you to spend cash. Watson 932 actually has the same amount of Acetaminophen as A333, but I think the difference is that they don't make them with more than 325 mgs anymore. 325 mg is now the new max dosage found in any pills as of 2014, due to an incr...

Watson is now Actavis if the article I just read is true , so your A333 is generic Percocet and hopefully works as well as the white round Watson , not sure yet tho . ## That is correct. Watson acquired Actavis and has dropped the Watson name. The tablet with the A333 marking contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Where can I read more about this.....Watson acquired Actavis and has dropped the Watson name? That's the name brand CVS uses now! Except if I get mine there, they (CVS),said mine is onlong [sp] and has "A32" on...

This a333 is generic for percocet and CVS is dispensing them, OXYCODONE 10/3.25 is what they are. ## Thanks for taking the time to share this information. To anyone else needing a second opinion, I can also confirm that an oblong white pill marked with "A333" is in fact identified as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, this tablet is said to be manufactured by Actavis, and has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. Does anyone here have personal experience or feedback from trying these over other manufacturer's brands/generics? I heard one complaint about someone having stomach or GI problems from this particular form, but have yet to come across a list of inactive ingredients to see what exactly might b...

What over the counter med looks like the white oblong/oval Perococet 10mg? I think someone took my meds and replaced them with something else. Who ever did it scratched out the numbers on the med that is in the bottle now. Please help. I need to figure out what it is. ## Hello, Brit! How are you? There are quite a few available of the counter that resemble it, so I can't name any specific one. Who has access to your medication to do such a thing?

Wow am I glad I found your site. I had been prescribed Percocet before but when I got these, I couldn't find it anywhere on any rxlist or site until I came across this blog. It was very helpful. I was unaware that watson had switched to actavis pharm or that there was a new company making these, I thought the pharmacy had messed up So thank you for all your info it was VERY helpful! ## Hello, Alaska25! How are you? I'm very glad that you found the information to be helpful. :-) There have been several people asking about these tablet and I had trouble finding the details myself. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I too used to take the Watson Marked ones, but CVS switched to these and I find these VERY VERY effective. I think that the reason some people don't like them is there body is used to the other and a lot of it maybe "brain" issues. Your brain is used to taking "Watson's" and when you change your brain is saying Ol no something different it won't work, helpppp... But rest assured your body WILL get used to them and start to work, it just takes time. Thanks, Jeremy ## When you switch brand names or manufacturers the drug itself doesn't necessarily change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences and side effects people feel have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may o...

Hello. What is the difference between A333 & A 3333, if they're *BOTH* supposedly a watson generic of percoset 10/325??? Thank you! :-) ## @confused, I have yet to find any specific details on a pill marked A 3333. "A333" on the other hand is reported to be a generic Percocet, containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Actavis (formerly known as Watson) however is listed as the manufacturer. Where did you come across a pill with an extra "3" at the end? I wonder if it's a misprint...

Pills that are close to oxycodne or look similar otc ## @Dakinm, Sorry to say this, but there are no OTC pills that resemble A333 oxycodone pills enough to pass for a substitute. This is mainly because no other tablet carries the same type of imprint; which is used to identify the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. I don't know what your reasoning is behind wanting to find something similar, but anyone who takes a moment of their time to look up the imprint wont be fooled by that approach. This may not be the kind of answer you're looking for, though, I believe honesty is the best policy.

What is a white oblong pill with A333 on it? It is supposed to be a Percocet but feels more like a Hydrocodone to me. ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. It doesn't work nearly as well as the generic Watson 932 I have been taking for pain. ## The pill marked "A333" is in fact listed as generic Percocet (10/325), but I think many others would agree with you that its effects aren't quite up to par with what you would normally expect from this medication. Ever since Actavis bought out Watson, there seems to have been a downgrade in the sheer potency/efficacy of all their pain medications. The FDA also allows a pretty significant variability (20-25%) of the amount of active ingredients found in generic medications. So one scenario could be that Actavis is taki...

To all of you who find that the A333 doesn't work as well as the Watson 932 you are right. i have been using the Watson for 3 years now with great pain reduction and no side effects. Now after 3 months on the Actavis A333 I am in a lot of pain and am constipated most of the time. Since the FDA allows a 20-25% tolerance, a 10mg pill could only be 8mgs, lets face it you know its not going to go the other way, that would cut into profits. As an organic chemist dealing in DNA & RNA production for the monomers I can tell you that the slightest change can make all the difference in the end product. I can bet the farm that Actavis made the A333 cheaper than Watson so therefor that is why the chemist at Actavis make it and not the chemist at Watson. Any variation in production will make...

I filled my prescription at Walgreens, it was supposed to be percocet 10/325. When I took the pill I noticed that I was still in pain an hr. later. So i checked the markings on it and it was marked a333, I have gotten generics before and they appeared to work so I thought I may have been given the wrong pill so I started researching and found I was not the only one experiencing this issue with these pills. I went to the pharmacy the next day and the pharmacist said ACTAVIS is NOW the only mfg. of this pill besides WATSONS which is extremely expensive and explained to me that they are very hard to get now because of one company buying out another and so on. The pharmacist refused to take the pills back She then suggested I call my dr.I then got upset and told her my insurance paid $150.0...
