I picked up my medication at my pharmacy CVS and it was a333 when I took the first pill I started felling cramps and headache... I called the pharmacy they offered no help so I went back to my doctor and got another script .I can't tell you how awful I felt like I was some kind of drug freak or something I had to have my medicine flushed once before because I was sick the entire time I was taking it...at this point no matter what happens with my medication I'm sticking with it good or bad for fear she won't see me anymore..its not right to feel like you may be labeled a drug freak because you don't want to suffer because these drug companies don't do right by the people they are supposed to help. I too was recently switched to generic A333 made by Pharma due to shortages. I have experienced upset stomach, indigestion, indigestion, etc...likewise, my pharmacy was CVS. I am NOT getting as much pain relief either & the pain comes back in less than 2 hrs, where as others can last up to 6. Where can I file a complaint? THANKS ## The only place I think it would make sense to file a complaint like this with, would be to contact the manufacturer who makes those specific tablets and let them know what's going on. Maybe if enough people file complaints with them directly, they would start to take a hint. Here's the number to reach Actavis' Customer Service: +1 (800) 272-5525 As a patient having to rely on this medication for chronic pain relief, there's not much else y... ...

Ok so i was recently prescribed this new equivalent to my previous prescription for watson. The scoring on this new pill is a333 and it seems to work well but my stomach cant handle the cramping. My pcp is going to write for me a new prescription for something different but until then im stuck with these cheap nockoffs. Can i cut these pills in half to minimize the stomach cramping? ## Hello, Steve! How are you? Yes, as long as your doctor approves, you can cut these in half, they are regular release tablets that contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, according to the prescription drug databases. The FDA lists this mediation as possibly being habit forming and states that it is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects,... ...

They did not discountuine he WATSON brand that was what the pharmacy was telling you so they did not have to explain why they did not have the New Abuse Pills made, There was a contract made the Actavis would be the ones to do the pills and that is why they are filling all Pain meds. This is all about our government trying to control our life. We have no freedom anymore. We can't even have freedom of Pain. It is all crap. The thing with the National Pill registry, trying to get people on health care, that's all a way to monitor where you go to the Doctor what meds you get, it's all a plan...WATSON was not discontinued. ## Complaining to the FDA about weak percocets from activas is a joke.its the FDA thats trying to take away our pain meds. Boycott all Activas products and go... ...

this pill does not do what its supposed to do very weak not good for pain ## There have been many complaints about these tablets from Actavis. I suggest reporting the issue to the FDA, so they are made aware of it. You can reach them at 888-463-6332 This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## This is my first time receiving Actavis A333 and I must say (to keep it professional) they are "C-R-A-P!" I just had my doctor cut me down from 15 mg Roxi to 10 mg Percocet. Yes, from 15 mg Roxi to Percocet 10 mg. MY HUSBAND HAD A STROKE IN 2007 AND HAS CONSTANT HEADACHES EVER SINCE. HE WAS PUT ON THE WATSON 932 AND AT LEAST TOOK THE EDGE OFF AND HE COULD DO SOME THINGS AROUND THE HOUSE. WELL ACTVIST BOUGHT WATSON PHARM AND WE WERE TAKING THE A333 AND IT WAS DOING NOTHING FOR HIM. THE PAIN WOULD BE UNBEARABLE SOMETIMES AND HE WOULD HIDE IN THE DARK BEDROOM FOR HOURS. WE WENT TO WALMART AND GOT A DIFFERENT BRAND WHICH IS IP 204 FROM AMNEAL PHAMACUETICALS. WE WILL SEE IF IT WILL WORK FOR HIM. ## Hello, Marcy! How is your husband doing? I filled my Rx at a different pharmacy to save time and received this version of Percocet a333. It's terrible! The regular ones I receive (by a completely different manufacturer than this or Watson) work pretty well. My issue is just worsening so They just aren't effective. Then when I opened this bottle, noticed the texture was different. It was early morning and dark so I took my normal 1/2 so I can go back to sleep. Felt no relief like I normally feel enough to sleep comfortably. Had to double check to make sure I didn't put Tylenol in one of the bottles for travel. Took the other half. Feels as weak as Tylenol in regards to my level of relief (almost none). Took my next full dose at when enough time had passed. Still, very little relief. This isn't the first time this w ...

ok, this is the real deal regarding the generic 10mg oxycodone a333 made by Actavis - actually Actavis acquired Watson - Watson brand product was discontinued Jan. 2014 - it is hard to find another generic - my opinion is that Actavis undercut prices of other generics, so all the pharmacies are buying it - i totally agree that there is a huge difference in pain relief - Actavis is now a huge global pharmaceutical presence, second or third to, well, I can't remember the other companies, you could look it up - they are using Purdue Pharma's anti-abuse formula or whatever you want to call it - they are moving their corporate headquarters to Ireland to take advantage of the lower tax rates - I spoke to them a long time (2 hours), and also wrote the FDA regarding their product - the ... ...

I just started taking the A333 pill. It is supposed to be a generic substitute for oxycodone 10/325. I was taking the Watson 932 generic substitute but was switched to the A333 pill because of drug store supply. I have noticed the A333 does not work nearly as well as the Watson 932 for me. ## Hello, Will! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. How long have you been taking this one? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, but they are usual minuscule and normally your body will adjust after a short period of time. ## I have been taking Percocet for a long time. Up until about 4 months ago I would get this strong burst of energy along with killing the pain. It would last about 4hrs. I would get the... ...

Pills that are close to oxycodne or look similar otc ## @Dakinm, Sorry to say this, but there are no OTC pills that resemble A333 oxycodone pills enough to pass for a substitute. This is mainly because no other tablet carries the same type of imprint; which is used to identify the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. I don't know what your reasoning is behind wanting to find something similar, but anyone who takes a moment of their time to look up the imprint wont be fooled by that approach. This may not be the kind of answer you're looking for, though, I believe honesty is the best policy. ...

Omg so glad to hear others. I had to have my doctor give reason to my insurance company to fill it as brand name .. Pay $50. More on top of it for the brand! The generic not good in fact bad.. Many people have been complaining about these tablets from Actavis Elizabeth saying that they just don't work, although they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. MFG. Actavis selling bad pills a333

I filled my prescription at Walgreens, it was supposed to be percocet 10/325. When I took the pill I noticed that I was still in pain an hr. later. So i checked the markings on it and it was marked a333, I have gotten generics before and they appeared to work so I thought I may have been given the wrong pill so I started researching and found I was not the only one experiencing this issue with these pills. I went to the pharmacy the next day and the pharmacist said ACTAVIS is NOW the only mfg. of this pill besides WATSONS which is extremely expensive and explained to me that they are very hard to get now because of one company buying out another and so on. The pharmacist refused to take the pills back She then suggested I call my dr.I then got upset and told her my insurance paid $150.0... ...

Thoughts on A333 & CVS
3 Replies RSS
I, too, had to switch to CVS Jan. 1, 2014, because I now have Obamacare, Value Silver Plan & in the place I live, basically one huge Insurance Co....the only one available. I live in a red state. Walgreens, who I used for a decade, did not sign a contract with ins. Co. For the Value Silver Plan. Everyone on this plan had to switch to CVS because this is what our ins. co. told us to do! I have thought, maybe, CVS, knowing full well, it was going to get slammed with new pharmacy customers come Jan 1st & in cohoots with the giant ins. co., saw a way to make more money by buying & selling cheap & substandard "value" medicine for the people who are on this plan! What are your thoughts on this? I, too, have to take A333, along with another pain medicine (long lasting) ... ...
