This is the first time Costco mail order pharmacy has sent me these pills, the previous ones I have been taking for five years were also a generic but I do not remember their color but think they were two colors, one color was white and I believe the other was green. Ever since I started taking the blue pills, my FBSS pains in my legs have greatly increased. I took the fluoxetine primarily for relief from these pains, along with 150 mg Lyrica, 2mg clonoxepam, 50mg prestiq, 25mg amitriptyline, and 50mg lamotrigine daily. Is it possible that these new blue pills, which I understand are made in India by Alembic, are sufficiently different than the previous generic Fluoxetine to cause this increase in pain. Please help, the pain has been terrible since making this change. Thank you. ## The ...

you note that generic meds can be marked same as proprietery "other" mess. how to be sure what I have? ## Hello, Dr. Dre! How are you? I think you're misunderstanding, so I'll try to clear this up for you. All prescription medications are marked, but the markings have to be unique to each manufacturer, each medication and each dosage of that medication. For instance, a round white tablet with A 101 on one side in black print, with nothing on the other is listed as being a 150mg Budeprion XL tablet, which is a time released formulation of Bupropion. Now, there are other companies that also make a 150mg time released dosage, but they cannot use the same imprint, they have to use a different one. This is done to help make sure that the medications can be identified and trac...

I just need to identify what pill this is. ## A white oval tablet with A10 on one side and APO on the other side is most likely Atorvastatin Calcium 10mg (NDC 60429-323). It is a generic for Lipitor and is part of the "statin" drugs for lowering cholesterol. Below is an image: Now, I said "most likely", because there is another drug with a different NDC code which is coming up as having the same imprint codes. That tablet is Alendronic Acid 10mg (NDC 60505-2593), which is an osteoporosis drug. Sorry but I don't have a picture for this one. The way you could tell WHICH one it is would be to measure the tablet. If it is 9mm wide then it's the first one. If it's a bit smaller at 6mm then it's the second one. I hope this info helps! Instead of bupropion 150mg xl tab 150mg 24hr (A 101), I received bupropion xl tab 150mg (681). Will it last 24hr like the (A 101) pill will? They said it would, but I have doubts. ## Hi Marci, From what I could gather, both pills are reported to contain 150mg of Bupropion in extended release form (A101 being a brand name Budeprion XL / and 681 being a generic form of Bupropion XL). So if the extended release tablets are supposed to last 24hrs I don't see any reason why this other pill wouldn't hold true to that. However it seems to me that the only way to know for certain would be to actually try it and see for yourself since everyone responds to these medications differently based on tolerance and other factors. Things like binders/fillers have been known to impact bioavailabil...
